Heavy fighting taking place in Gerishk district HELMAND, Jun. 17 – Heavy fighting is reported to be taking place in Gerishk district between Mujahideen and foreign invaders, according to officials from Helmand. 18 local police killed in Terenkot clash URUZGAN, Jun. 17 – Reports arriving from Terenkot city of Uruzgan province state that a deadly clash broke out yesterday at 08:30 am between Mujahideen and local police, according to officials. The heavy fighting in which foreign invaders also took part lasted till around 06:00 pm in Lwarh Darwaishan area during which 18 puppets were killed as well as the invaders suffering losses that were later evacuated by medical helicopters besides Mujahideen carrying out a rocket attack on an enemy helicopter. Landmines destroy 2 US tanks HELMAND, Jun. 17 – Officials from Kahn-e-Sheen district state that landmines in Kala Shura area blew apart a US tank at 08:00 am and another at 12:00 pm yesterday, killing 4 invaders inside and severely wounding 4 others. Multiple IED attacks kill 6 enemy troops, wound 2 KANDAHAR, Jun. 17 – Dozens of foreign invaders and their puppets were airdropped in Nada area of Zhiri district last night and then backed up by tanks this morning, according to officials. 2 mines reportedly detonated on the enemy last night and another powerful IED this morning, killing 6 joint enemy troops and severely wounding 2 others. Tank and vehicle destroyed by landmines HELMAND, Jun. 17 – A US tank was blown apart by an IED in Shin Bawrhiyo area of Washir district, located near Shurab airbase yesterday at 05:00 pm, killing and wounding all invaders inside. ISAF tank blown apart in Zabul ZABUL, Jun. 17 – At around 11:00 am today, a tank of ISAF invaders was torn apart by a landmine in Chishmo village of Shahjoe district however the exact enemy casualty figures are not known. This tank is from amongst the convoy which arrived 3 days earlier in various areas of Shahjoe and Arghandab districts for an operation and has come under repeated Mujahideen bomb and armed attacks. Commander Tor Jan killed in bombing KANDAHAR, Jun. 17 – A commander of a militia check post (commander Tor Jan) and his guard were killed in Nalgham ara of Zhiri district when Mujahideen detonated an explosive-laden motorbike on the enemy motorbike yesterday at 03:00 pm.
