Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and South Korean officials reach an agreement on the 19 South Koreans on Tuesday 28-08-07, the agreement was reached as both parties negotiated a deal in which the South Korean authorities excepted Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan demands in return the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan released the South Koreans, the demands which the South Korean government excepted were as follow.
One, all Koreans will quit Afghanistan by the end of the year.
Two, Koreans working for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Afghanistan will leave the country by the end of the current month.
Three, more Christian missionaries from that country will not enter Afghanistan .
Four, the Koreans will not be attacked while leaving the war-torn country.
Five, Taliban have forgone their demand for the release of militants detained by the Afghan government.
But there is a devilish propaganda being orchestrated against the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan by the mainstream media, which is propagating to the world that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was paid US 20 million in ransom money by the South Korean government to win the freedom of the South Koreans which is not true.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan released the remaining South Koreans as a goodwill gesture. The South Korean people during this ordeal where able to feel what the Afghans are feeling everyday at the hands of America and its allies as they are held as hostages in their own country and are being prosecuted.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan since the day when it first captured the 23 South Koreans have never demanded any money, only the releasing of their Mujahideen who are illegally lock up in America and Karzai’s administration prisons where they are being tortured.
The concern citizens of this world must ask why the Mainstream media are spreading untruthful news about Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, why are they purposely misinforming the world about the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, what could be their motivations in spreading lies about the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The two parties who were involved in the negotiations were the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the South Korean authorities, not one of them mentioned any thing about ransom money exchanging hands and both parties involved in the negotiations have strongly denied this propaganda of the mainstream media.
The important question is when the two parties involved in the negotiations are strongly rejecting ransom, so where does the mainstream media get the news about the ransom, who are these authorities which have informed the mainstream media and what creditability due these authorities have that the mainstream media gives their words more preference over the words of those who were actually involved in the negotiations.
Alan Fisher, reporting for Al Jazeera from Kabul in Afghanistan, said that the "Taliban left the table substantially richer" and that the ransom could have been as high as $20m. "We've gone back to several sources and again they have told us that as far as they are aware there was certainly a ransom paid and a figure that is being bandied around in Kabul is about $20m ... All our sources tell us that money did change hands." He also reported that kidnappings by the Taliban were likely to continue.
