Statement by Islamic Emirate Afghanistan
regarding the use of phosphorous

In the name of Allah,
the Merciful, the Compassionate
Recent media reports have talked about the widespread use of
phosphorous, a poisonous chemical substance, by the Americans in their latest
bombing raids in various parts of the country.
Phosphorous is a white burning agent that ignites easily and burns and
obliterates human beings.
As operations by the Mujahideen have currently increased in various parts of the
country and as the enemy suffers heavy casualties on a daily basis, they carry
out revenge attacks and bombings and target civilians every day, destroy
villages and homes and ruthlessly martyr women, children and defenceless human
beings using a variety of chemical and non-chemical weapons.
Referring to the bombardment of Balabolok District in Farah Province, an
American spokesman told the media they acc.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, while strongly denying the use of
phosphorous by the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate, calls on all international
organizations to carry out a neutral and independent investigation of such
barbaric actions and to condemn and expose the criminals to the world public.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is ready for every cooperation in this
regard.
