Remarks of the Spokesman of The Islamic Emirate Of Afghanistan
About Release of Turkish Engineers
Shawwāl 10, 1432 A.H, Friday, September 09, 2011
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Last Saturday, the Islamic Emirate set free four Turkish prisoner engineers on the basis of Islamic sympathy and in honor of the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Though the Islamic Emirate has warned all local and foreign companies many times, that their interaction, in whatsoever capacity it may be with the Puppet Karzai Government, is understood as cooperation with the invading Americans and their Allies in the task of occupation of Afghanistan and, any party that is found assisting the invaders in the occupation of Afghanistan, is legally prosecuted by the Islamic Emirate.
Notwithstanding that, some entities and
parties are ignoring the warnings of the Islamic Emirate and
continue their cooperation and assistance with the invaders,
in order to gain their political and economical interests.
Ultimately, they are captured and detained by Mujahideen
because of their violation of the warnings.
On 6.12.2010, Mujahideen captured four Turkish engineers in
Pathan district of Paktya province, while they were defying
the Islamic Emirate’s warnings by working for a Turkish
company involved in construction of outposts for the so-called
national army.
So, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate
detained them on charges of building the outposts. However,
during interrogation, the prisoners showed regret about their
anti-Islamic and unlawful work, they gave an affidavit to the
Islamic Emirate that they would not keep any ties with the
company hereafter. Therefore, the Islamic Emirate freed them
on the basis of Islamic sympathy and in honor of the advent of Eid-ul-fitr.
Foreign and local journalists witnessed the good health
condition of the prisoners, which means that the Mujahideen
had maintained a good and humane behavior with them during
their detention. They were never tortured during the time of
their captivity. This is amidst reports that thousands of
Afghans are detained every month by the invaders and their
puppets under various fraudulent charges, who are then
harshly tortured during their illegal detentions.
All sides should follow the good example of humane behavior of
the Islamic Emirate with the prisoners. Others also should
respect the humane dignity and human rights of (our) prisoners
and should abstain from committing brutal torture against
them.
The Islamic Emirate not only behaved well with Turkish
prisoners, but has always shown good mannerism with all
prisoners, as this is the policy of the Islamic Emirate. Other parties have more facilities and material means
than we have, they are morally bound to show, in comparison,
good behavior towards the prisoners.

Spokesman of
The Islamic Emirate Of
