The Glory of the East Begins with Damascus

“Permission is given (to fight) to those against whom war is made, because they are wronged; and verily, Allah is most powerful for their aid.”

In the Name of Allah. All praise is due to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon all his family and companions, and those who followed him.

To my Muslim brothers everywhere: Asalamu alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. To proceed:

I direct my message today to our fellow Muslims in Sham, the land of Ribat, Jihad, glory, Arabism and nobility; Sham, the land which has risen against subjugation; Sham, which has stood to confront injustice and the unjust; Sham, the land of sacrifice and selflessness; Sham, the land of stature and defiance.

I say to them: may peace be upon you, O beloved heroes! Peace be upon you, O Mujahideen who enjoin the good and forbid the evil! Peace be upon you, O oppressed, subjugated, tortured and killed! Peace be upon you, our fellow Muslims, brothers and blood relations! Peace be upon you, while you teach the rebellious and treacherous, traitorous tyrant severe lessons on how to resist him, his corruption and treachery, and his compliance in favor of the global hegemony and his desertion of Golan. Peace be upon you! You are like lofty mountains and peaks on which all types of punishments are poured, while you remain strong and resilient. Whenever a martyr falls from amongst you, hundreds of others present themselves for martyrdom, and whenever someone is imprisoned, hundreds of others offer themselves, ready to sacrifice! Peace be upon you, O lions of Islam and Arabism, in every inch of our beloved Syria!

[Poetry]

Peace be upon you, O champions and heroes! Indeed you have presented a great example, teaching your Arab and Islamic Ummah lessons about sacrifice, resilience and fighting injustice.

And why should this not be the case, when you are the sons of Sham, the land of Ribat, Jihad and martyrdom; Sham, the land of Khalid bin Waleed and Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah, may Allah be pleased with them both, Al Awza’i, Nur ad-Din Zangi, Salahuddin Al Ayoubi, Ibn Taimiyyah, Izzuddin Al-Qassam and Marwan Hadeed, may Allah have mercy on them all.

[Poetry]

Peace be upon you, O courageous and fierce, free and noble, in Daraa, Jisr ash-Shugur, Ma'arrat al-Numan, Baniyas, Homs, and Hama, the land of heroism and martyrdom. Peace be upon you, wherever you may be, in every inch of Sham, the land of Ribat and Jihad. Indeed, with bare chests you are confronting tanks, missiles, cannons and helicopters.

[Poetry]

Say to him: In fact it is you who is the leader of the gang of criminals, the heir of the traitors, the leader of the corrupt, the head hangman, and the partner of America in the war against Islam, which they call the “war on terror”, and the guardian of the Israeli borders.

Say to him: the era of subjugation and deception has passed, the reign of the robbers has come to an end.

Say to him: We have broken free from the shackles of fear, and demolished the prisons of reluctance. The free people of Syria and its Mujahideen have decided that they will either live honorably, or die as martyrs.

[Poetry]

O free people and Mujahideen of Sham! I believe you not to have been fooled by the plots of the global hegemony and the ruses of the new Crusades. America, who worked with Bashar Al Assad throughout his tenure, now claims to be on your side, after it has seen the earth overcome with the tremors of your anger, and after its plans were foiled in Tunisia and Egypt by the loss of two of their most important agents! Washington today seeks to replace Assad, who sincerely guarded the borders of the Zionist entity, with another regime which will end your uprising and Jihad, a government which will grant the Ummah some of their rights, but in essence will still be obedient to America and will safeguard the interests of Israel.

[Poetry]

Tell America and Obama that you are the children of great conquerors, the progeny of Mujahideen and the heirs of those garrisoned at the borders. Tell them you are waging a war of liberation and freedom, liberation from the corrupt idolic tyrants and liberation for the Muslim lands.

Tell them that your blessed anger and awesome uprising will never settle, Allah willing, until you raise the victorious flag of Jihad over Mount Scopus in our beloved and usurped land of Jerusalem.

Our brothers and fellow Muslims of Sham, the land of Ribat and Jihad! Allah knows that if it weren't for this raging war with the New Crusades in which we are engaged, and were it not for these borders and restrictions penned by Sykes and Picot, then sanctified by our rulers, my brothers and I would be at your side today, in your midst, defending you with our necks and chests. But we are consoled by the fact that Sham, the land of Islam and martyrdom, has enough Mujahideen for themselves as well as others. May Allah reward you with the best of rewards, on behalf of Islam and the Muslims.

May the Majestic reward you, O sons of Damascus,

Our final prayer is that all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all that exists, and may peace and blessings be upon our leader, Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions.
