1. We do
not want a jihad that arises from boredom, being
impatient with the reality, that death is seeked in
order to break away from boredom.
2. We do not want a jihad as a result of a
momentary passion so that it is to be said that Mr. So
and so has conducted jihad here and here, but when the
passion is gone, all those jihad deeds will vanish
without trace.
3. We do not want a jihad because of hastiness,
harvesting the ripe fruit prematurely. Whoever hurries
in a practice before its time, it is forbidden to
acquire it. The subject of jihad is something great,
none could endure it except those can wait patiently.
4. We do not want a jihad, due to the reason of
wanting to run away from a difficult situation one is
facing, or to run away from the task of carrying out the
trust of the ummah.
5. We do not want a jihad that does not weigh up
the maslahat (benefits) and mafasid
(damages), that does not weigh up which are the
priorities and which should be deferred. Not paying
attention to the shar'i matters and mature
thinkings.
6. We do not want a jihad where its forces go
into battle before going through the restriction of at
least an i’dad (preparation), thus they are
easily defeated by the enemy.
7. We do not want a jihad for the benefit of the
tyrannical thaghut. When they give a green light, the
forces depart and if they do not allow they then comply.
8. We do not want a jihad whose members consist
of the thaghut and thaghut, thus
having loyalty to the thaghut and enmity with
the thaghut.
9. We do not want a jihad to depose the authority
of the thaghut to be replaced with another
thaghut, kufr with another form of
kufr, a corrupt state system with another corrupt
state system.
10. We do not want a jihad just to reach the peak
of the highest goal of dying shaheed and then
not caring about the subsequent survival of the
struggle, not bothered with the phases of the
establishment of the foundations and the construction of
the 'buildings' of Islam, as well as the achievement of
the goals.
11. We do not want a jihad in which the fruits
are picked by a tyrannical thaghut, as if we
were being made as the shield and death, while they with
the conspiracy that they set up are picking the fruits.
Their goals and plannings are achieved, while the
tactics of the Mujahideen are smashed to pieces.
