To proceed:

So Allah, the Almighty, honoured us with the opportunity to communicate with the courageous leader, the brave Sheikh Sirajudeen Haqqani, may Allah preserve and support him, who is the lion, the son of the lion Jalal Al-Din Haqqani. The Sheikh is a member in the Shura Council of the beloved Islamic Emirate, and the only one in the south-eastern province of Afghanistan.

The interview consists of questions put forward by the members, who asked questions which their hearts desired answers to. And the Sheikh gladly answered, may Allah reward him and grant him all the best.

We ask Allah that the Muslims in general benefit from this pleasant interview, and that He protect the Sheikh and all his supporters from all harm, and supports our beloved Emirate with victory sooner than later.

In the name of Allah, the most Merciful and Compassionate. Praise be to Allah the Lord of knowing all which is, Who commanded Jihad in His book and according to his Messenger. And I swear that there is no god but Allah with no partner to Him in his Names and Attributes, and I attest that Muhammad, is His servant and Messenger, waged Jihad for the sake of Allah, may He bless his family, Companions, and those who believe and support him and the many messages he has brought to us.

My brothers, the Muslims who are respectable everywhere: Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

First: I thank the Ansar Al-Mujahideen Network very much for permitting the opportunity for me to communicate with the suffering Muslims. I pray for success and steadfastness for the Ansar Al-Mujahideen Network and all internet Jihadist networks that exerted their efforts to break the media blockade imposed by the enemies of the faith. They delivered news of the Jihad and the Mujahideen who fight the Crusaders to the Muslims of the world.

Secondly: I sent the highest condolences to all mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, children and youth, and the Sheikhs, the women and men who gave the sacrifice of losing their boys and their brothers, their sisters and their fathers; their life companions, their relatives and their friends during the last eight years in the defence of Islam in many different places around the world, especially in the centre of the Caliphate, Iraq, a centre of knowledge and civilization, and in Somalia, the redemption and the sacrifice and the bravery, and in Afghanistan, the cemetery of the arrogant invaders, and in the Caucasus, the land of lions, and respected history, and in Algeria, virility and fatherhood and those who remain day and night in prison under unjustness and torture. And to those who are involved any of the types of resistance against the Crusaders, and especially to the families who sacrificed their same flesh in martyrdom-seeking operations all around the world.

Thirdly: To all the leaders of the correct Islamic Jihad movements who waged Jihad against the Crusaders politically, systematically, economically and media-wise. They wage Jihad truthfully and with devotion. So I send to them my regards and my greetings, and I pray that Allah aids them with all His methods, and grants them patience, and may He steady their footsteps.

Fourth: I pray to Allah to grant all the networks and the Jihadist websites on the web success and steadfastness, because they resist internal heresy and its repercussions, and hypocrisy and deviation.

Fifthly: To the Mujahideen who fight against the Crusaders; I say to myself and to them:

· Maintain the creed.

· Be disciplined in your Jihad according to the criteria of the revealed Islamic Shari’ah.

· Agree and unite among yourselves and avoid dispute.

· Purify your ranks from the corrupt and the disloyal.

· Govern your Mujahideen on the acceptable Islamic foundations; intellectually, physically and religiously

· Use piety and civil criteria to choose your officials and avoid interpretations.

· Endure the disasters and do not rush victory, and aid with patience.

· Memorize your secrets, and satisfy your needs secretly.

· Be straight and steadfast in your steps.

· Renew and refresh your tactics.

· Take care with security measures.

· Protect security for your individuals and your groups. Your slogan should be “even if his mule stumbled into Iraq, ask about its age”.

· Be characterized by piety and faith; devotion and patience; dependence and integrity and good manners.

· And the consequence for you will either be martyrdom or victory. And know that acceptance of martyrdom is connected with the intention, and that the ranks of martyrdom cannot be gained except with good deeds.

Seventh: It is said that some of the Mujahideen are not content with the straits of the Jihad, and they believe in or are swayed by nationalism and geographic sentiment, or they are influenced by enticing presents from the enemy, and they incline towards the person who gave them a position. For these people, it is necessary to explain to them well that the intention of Jihad is the elevation of the word of Allah by speech or deeds. And if he leaves this intention; then their combat is of no use, and Allah, the Almighty, brings them humiliation and shame.

Eighth: The current Jihad will bear its fruits. There is no time or place that a Jihad did not have results or benefits, as long as His people stayed resistant in the Jihad by Allah’s grace, glory be to Him! Like the British Empire, the French and the Italians with the blessing of Jihad were made to fall in their time, and the Muslims were freed from their evil. And from the blessings of Jihad, the Soviet Union fell, and since its fall the people sighed, and praise Allah, we certainly have the blessing of the current Jihad, that the Believers will be secure from the evil of the Crusaders in the future. As a blessing of the Jihad, many people who believe in the Jihad will be safe from harm and the evil of the Crusaders.

Ninth: The world should not listen to external media. They should look into the work of the Islamic Emirate. And if we do not make declarations about some issues that does not mean that we are not concerned with them!! And the Islamic Emirate led a practical examination in the field before even the entire world.

Tenth: We reassure all the Muslims that the Amir of the Faithful Mullah Mohammed Umar Mujahid, may Allah protect him, is doing well and whatever the western media publishes about him has no basis in truth.

The eleventh: We reassure the Muslims in the world that we will never betray the blood of the martyrs, and with Almighty Allah’s help we will not accept the renunciation of a single rule in Shari’ah. What Karzai reiterates in his negotiations has no basis in truth. They are fabrications of the media, and he wants to use this to reduce the reliance of the Muslims on the Islamic Emirate, and wants there to be hypocrisy, disunity and division between the Mujahideen. But there is no way for this to happen, as long as we stay on Jihad in Allah’s path. Then, what the media repeats about the detention of the leaders of Jihad is incorrect, and the Muslims will know, that even if it occurred it would not affect the current Jihad.

The twelfth: The Muslims in the world must help their Mujahideen brothers by any means and in all areas. People with money should help with their money, and the experts help with their expertise, and their experience in the field of explosives and electronics and communication, and combating spy networks, and destroying the abilities of the enemy.

People of the pen, and poetry and literature and the mindset – they have to combat the widespread fabrications of the Crusader enemy. They should take responsibility in this area, the way the West united against the Muslims in every domain. The youth must prepare themselves for sacrifice, and organize themselves in the movements of Jihad. The scholars must speak out and support the Mujahideen. They must leave the partisan differences behind them, and work to bring together their speeches for the Mujahideen.

The Islamic news networks must spread the news of the Islamic Emirate and other movements of Jihad quickly for the Muslims. They must leave objectionable competition, and instead compete in goodness among themselves, cooperating on the basis of piety and godliness. And if they heard misleading or doubtful news on the Islamic Emirate or on the movements of Jihad, then they must verify its accuracy before they publish it. This also applies to inflated or exaggerated news. Verify it from officials of the Islamic Emirate and leaders of the Jihad movements via messages and the internet. And in the end I want to answer the questions posed, but some questions are recurring and some of them are similar so they were addressed in a single reply, and some questions are not relevant for me to address.

May peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah, and His blessings.

First, I want to say to your Excellency that you, the lions of Afghanistan, have raised the heads of our nation high with what you have done to the Americans and its assistants.

Secondly, we want you to make clear to us if the news reported by the media on the detention of leadership members of the Taliban in Pakistan is true or untrue? And we want you to let us know about the Jihadist situation there in Afghanistan.

May Allah reward you well from us and all the Muslims.

And upon you peace, and Allah’s mercy, and His blessings.

Answer 1: I have heard this news in the western media, and I do not have anything to confirm it, but maybe they detained some Mujahideen that are members of the Emirate. As for the detention of leadership of the Islamic Emirate, the private Emirate media did not speak on the detention of a single member in the leadership. This news was perhaps published to cover the defeat of the fifteen thousand soldiers of the joint forces, led by the American coalition, in Marjah in the province of Helmand. This was a great defeat.

Answer 2: Praise be to Allah, the year between 1430 AH to 1431 AH was a year full of conquests and victories. The Mujahideen now have better offensive conditions. With every passing day the Mujahideen control new places, and with every passing day the enemy losses increase. The Mujahideen, praise and thanks be to Allah, are in control of the battle situation. And as you hear from the Western media, the American Ministry of Defence compared the losses of the first 3 months in 2009 with those in 2010, and announced that the losses had doubled. The number of fatalities had doubled, and the number of wounded tripled, in addition to the financial losses they suffered.

May the peace and mercy of Allah be upon you.

May Allah preserve your life our Sheikh, the Mujahid leader “Sirajudeen Haqqani”, I pray to Allah that He may protect and support you over these enemies of the faith, our Mujahid Sheikh: How are the conditions of the Mujahideen and the Muhajireen (immigrants) in North Waziristan? What is the effect of the operation by the hero Abu Dujanah Al-Khurasani, may Allah accept him, on the operations of the Americans and especially in the unmanned bombing?! What is your opinion on global Jihad, and likewise what is your opinion on the Arab rulers? Will there be a political relationship or cooperation with the Arab rulers after liberating Afghanistan, or do you envision continuing Jihad and liberating Jerusalem?!

And may the peace and mercy of Allah be upon you.

Answer 1: Praise be to Allah, all the Mujahideen are in good condition, and if you sometimes hear news of the martyrdom of Mujahideen with an unmanned aerial vehicle, then know that likewise the Mujahideen weaken their enemies, and they inflict on them human and financial losses. This is war, and in war you do not divide the roses. Without the troubles and the sacrifices it is not possible to have victory, and the Mujahideen, praise be to Allah, are victorious, and this was a busy year. Allah chose some of the Mujahideen for Martyrdom.

Answer 2: A big hero, the Mujahid in Allah's path, Abu Dujanah Al-Khurasani, may Allah accept him, in his blessed martyrdom operation, which killed senior official from the American Intelligence Agency (CIA), who were from the elite intelligence officers. And these American intelligence agents, which they killed were the group responsible for operations pursuing the Mujahideen and especially the leaders of the Mujahideen. They were in the field for years, and they were even effective in some of the neighbouring counties such as Iraq. And after killing this group, the back of the enemy was broken, and it is said that the operations targeting the Mujahideen accurately decreased by 60 percent. And the outcome of this blessed operation are:

· Killing elite and skilful American intelligence officers.

· Creating irregularity in using spies.

Answer 3: From a legal aspect, wherever it is, Jihad is an individual duty and we believe in its necessity at that place. We help the Muslims with this in accordance to Shari’ah, and the highest word of Allah, and getting rid of unjustness and corruption, and we are now working on this. With regards to the people and the operations and the governments, we do not recognize what is right from men and names, but we know men according to what is right. We look to anyone from the perspective of Islamic Shari’ah. Shari’ah is the basic law of the Islamic Emirate, and we promise to liberate Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the first holy place for Muslims, and what is the reason for the West's aggression on Afghanistan, except to build a bridge for a greater Israel. In this Crusader campaign, they are trying to remove all the barriers in the path of establishing a greater Israeli state. We believe that America’s defeat in Afghanistan will break the severity of this Crusader campaign on the Islamic world, and will facilitate a road for us to liberate Al-Aqsa, if Allah, the Almighty permits.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

I pray to Allah that He may support and protect you. Why do you not talk about the Palestinian issue a lot? And about the current situation with the apostate HAMAS government authorities in Gaza, and their constraint on Salafi Jihadists? The young people are eager about your standing on the disgrace of the reply by HAMAS to the matter.

It is not right to say “that we are not speaking on the Palestinian issue”. For we are surrounded by media, by global media that does not publish what we say. The Emirate from time to time issues statements on the Palestinian issue, and to us, the Palestinians are the worthiest of our brothers. The internal differences among the Palestinians only benefit the enemy. We ask the Mujahideen brothers and all the Palestinian Jihad groups to be steadfast, and not to part with Shari’ah and the right path, they should never accept a bargain on the account of religion! And that they endure through trouble against the Jihad and through disaster against Jihad.

May the peace of Allah, and His mercy, be upon you.

Why not move the Mujahideen from North Waziristan to Afghanistan? Because a lot of Mujahideen leaders are martyred in air raids due to spies, and the territory of Afghanistan is safer than North Waziristan.

And may the peace and mercy of Allah, and His blessings, be upon you.

The Mujahideen are presently in Afghanistan. And Mujahideen in the area, they know the conditions of that area and trustworthy locations, to include places which are appropriate for Jihadi operations.

Question 1: What measures did you take for the foreign prisoners you hold, given that these countries did not comply with the Mujahideen requirements?

Question 2: Is there a strategy for the Mujahideen to tackle the joint operations in Marjah?

Answer 1: The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan formed a private organization to follow the issue of the prisoners, and they are the ones who will decide the measures.

Answer 2: The joint operation in Marjah was nothing but a media exaggeration. The enemies could not reach any of their objectives with the huge media confusion. The Mujahideen have a successful strategy, and the Mujahideen know well the enemy's plans and lies, and in return for that they have a comprehensive strategy.

Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah, and His blessings.

I ask Allah, the Almighty, that He support you against your enemy, and may He steady you on the path to victory. My brother, what is your advice and your directives those like me who wish to support the Jihad?

If you are blind or disabled then the Qur'an excuses you from jihad. Otherwise, follow the example of the Companions of the Prophet. For those to whom this is not clear, those who are burdened with suspicions and interpretations - read the book by the great Mujahid Sheikh Ahmad Ibn Ibrahim Ibn al-Nahhas entitled "Mashari' Al-Ashwaq ila Masari' Al-'Ushaq", which deals with those who leave jihad.

May Allah guide the shooting of our brothers in all countries of the world, and may He support them in Kashmir, Afghanistan, Waziristan, Palestine and Iraq. My esteemed Sheikh, may Allah give you guidance, Allah willing. What is your position on the Islamic groups in the occupied territories of “Palestine”, we specifically mean the Islamic Jihad movement and HAMAS?

May Allah guide your steps, and may He light your way.

Our position is the same for all the Mujahideen Islamic groups that comply with the Qur'an, the Sunnah and Islamic Shari’ah teachings. Our position towards them is a position of one brother to another. We advise ourselves and our brothers to be patient with the disasters and straits of the jihad, so they do not hurry victory, and that they do not deviate from the way of the correct practices. They know that they are in great affliction from the direction of the blockade imposed on them. On the other hand there are those who present to them aid and facilitation, in exchange for renouncing some of the Islamic principles, and they must beware of this affliction.

Allah, we ask You the victory that you promised.

Peace, and the mercy of Allah, and His blessings be upon you - the people of the frontiers.

First: We thank the members engaged in the Ansar network on for this great effort they give in the path of defending this faith. We thank them also on arranging this open interview with Sheikh Sirajudeen, may Allah protect him and us in turn, we present our appeals to the Sheikhs, and the seekers of knowledge, that they proceed to forums like this one, and that they present there the knowledge that came to them from Allah, whether they be seekers of knowledge, or Jihadi Sheikhs. The importance is that they spread the benefit, and inform the Islamic nation about the events happening in the Jihadist fields, and the increasing numbers of media lies which are circulated around these events.

I would like to present our Sheikh, may Allah protect him, and we ask Allah to grant him steadfastness, in asking about the veracity of the news about enemy forces taking over some areas that were in the grips of Mujahideen. And whether what the news agencies are reporting is correct, about some areas falling from the hand of Mujahideen?! And also if you could talk to us, our Sheikh, about the veracity of the news of the arrest of the Mujahid Sheikh Mullah Baradar, and what are the intervals of influence of the news of the detention of the leaders in the theatre of the Jihad of the Mujahideen in defiant Afghanistan?

They did not take control of anything. These are fabrications of the enemy. The media of the Islamic Emirate did not mention the detention of the leaderships and we discussed this previously.

Are there any combatants other than the Taliban and al-Qaeda?

Question from al-Abd al-Faqir:

Is there a specific age for acceptance to the guest-houses? And then entrance to the camps? Is it just by presenting a request to enter the camps, or do they go to the lion’s den, and select from among the youths their choice for training on the required arts?

And what is most of need presently to the Mujahideen in Afghanistan?

Do they need men, or the seekers of knowledge?

Or do they need money?

To proceed: What is your position on global Jihad, and why do you not hit the enemy on the outside?

Many people joke that your finances are from the weapons and your money via opium. So what is your reply?

And may the peace and mercy of Allah be upon you, and His blessings.

During the period of rule by the Islamic Emirate, opium agriculture was forbidden and the people welcomed that decision. But now there is America and her agents. They encourage the people to plant opium, and we do not have any relationship with planting opium and we are not financed in this manner. These are all lies from the enemy, to defame the reputation of the Mujahideen, and this claim is an ugly excuse for their defeat.

Our esteemed Sheikh, may Allah protect you and bless you

Our esteemed Sheikh, we want to know:

What is the position of the Emirate on the occupiers after they leave, and will they demand compensation for the losses caused by the occupation?

Dear Sheikh, our hearts are connected are hoping from you, after Allah, the Almighty, in liberating the homeland of Islam and in particular Palestine. Tell our Amir Mullah Muhammad Umar of this, I pray that Allah protects him and blesses in him. Peace, and the mercy of Allah, and His blessings be upon you.

And may the peace and mercy of Allah be upon you, and His blessings.

There is no doubt that this unjust war destroyed and caused losses, and we must demand compensation of these losses. This is our right.

Our esteemed Sheikh Sirajudeen, may Allah protect you and the brothers one and all, and may Allah steady us with you for what is good to come, so my question is, our

Sheikh: What is your position on what happened in Nigeria, and what is the strategy followed for that? And please our gracious Sheikh, accept greetings from all the brothers, and may Allah reward you on our behalf, and on behalf of the Ummah as a whole, with the best.

We ache from the killing of the Muslims everywhere of the world, and especially our brothers in Muslim Nigeria. There is a special organization concerned with external political cases that will take necessary measures concerning the issue.

May esteemed Sheikh, may Allah, the Almighty, protect you.

It is known that you did not pledge allegiance to Mullah Umar, Amir of the Faithful, does this mean that the Afghan people will enter civil war - Allah forbid - after the disappearance of the Crusader occupiers, like what happened to the Jihad after liberating the land of Khurasan from the Russians?

And upon you peace, and Allah’s mercy, and His blessings.

I am a soldier of the Amir of the Faithful Mullah Muhammad Umar, may Allah protect him and deliver him from all harm. What is said about the lack of an oath of allegiance is slander. Indeed there are not different armies. There is one Amir, and he is the Amir of the Faithful: Mullah Muhammad Umar, may Allah protect him. There will not be an internal war after the triumph - Allah willing - and whatever messages emerging from the media to this effect are an attempt at heresy, to split the ranks of the Mujahideen. They will not succeed, Allah willing.

What is your position on the Islamic group in the Arab states and especially in the Gulf?!

Do you find strong support from the people of the Islamic countries in general for your Jihad and from the Gulf in particular?

And upon you peace, and Allah’s mercy, and His blessings.

We respect all the Islamic groups that serve the faith of Allah in the correct method, and according to the doctrine of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’a. We call on the Muslims to support them, and cooperate with them on the basis of piety and godliness.

May Allah protect you our esteemed Sheikh, and all the lions of the Jihad in the Islamic Emirate.

First: Please give us the reassurance on the Jihadist position in Afghanistan and the achievements of the Mujahideen in the last months.

Secondly: What is your position on the negotiations with the Crusader occupation forces and the puppet Karzai regime?

Thirdly: What is your opinion on the role of the global Jihadist media and its success in presenting correct Mujahideen news to the Muslims in general?

And upon you peace, and Allah’s mercy, and His blessings.

Answer 1: As long as the occupation is found in Afghanistan and the agents of the occupation are in power, there will not be any talks. The Jihad remains - Allah willing - and the position of the Emirate is clear.

Answer 2: I pray that Allah facilitates them and rewards them with the loftiest Paradise, and I pray that Allah protects them and may He support them. In the truth they performed a big service, and uncovered the mysteries and black magic of the Crusaders and their false deceptions.

I ask Allah that He support you and protect you. The question: What is required from the Mujahid youths who engage in deception and they are not guided in the way?

How can we present our help to you and to the youths who join you? And what are the conditions that qualifies someone for that? Please pray for me to be a martyr in the path of Allah, after weakening the non-Believers.

You must consult the sincere scholars and not just sit in your house. Benefit from the available means and work against the Crusader occupation to the extent possible.

What is your position on the Sheikhs for example Abu Ishaq al-Hawni and the Sheikhs of the Salafi da`wah in al-Iskandariyah. It is said that they did not declare allegiance to the Amir of the Faithful?!

We respect all the sincere scholars. Try to employ your capabilities in the service of Islam and the Muslims and consult someone who trusts in his religion and guards what is entrusted to him. Know that the Ummah is in need of you, and those like you who are sincere youth and fervent in their religion.

To begin, I welcome our guest and our brother and our teacher the Mujahid, “Sirajudeen Haqqani”, may Allah keep him.

Question: I want to say to you - what do you think of the Jihadist media and all these blessed networks, blessed all of them without exclusion? And should we exert more effort or is the current effort sufficient? In conclusion, I send a message to my brothers the Mujahideen – a message of loyalty and affection and longing for them. We ask Allah that we meet either in an orthodox caliphate or in paradise that covers the heaven and the earth. And may Allah preserve your life and may He guide your steps towards good.

The services of the Jihadist internet networks are in a place of pride and respect, and in truth they present a great service. We want the brothers engaged on Jihadist internet networks to develop on their level and arrange themselves more. And we want them to unite their efforts and exceed their attempt and publish their materials in accord with the issue and time. They have to publish the Jihad world news in the Islamic world quickly and convey messages from the leaders of the Islamic Jihad. In the end everything would be exemplary and orderly and they would make other media dependent on them and on the Mujahideen in order to promote them and likewise to serve them. And the Jihadist movements must give them Jihadist materials and their news and their messages and the conversations and especially the trusted films. And likewise, Muslims in general must help them financially and technically on all sides. We ask Allah to support them and us for success and fulfillment.

May Allah bless you my brother on your worthy effort.

And may Allah make steadfast the lions of Tawheed in the glorious Taliban. Whether it is the Taliban in Pakistan or Afghanistan, and make all Mujahideen steadfast to call on arbitration by the Islamic Shari`ah.

My question is: What is your position on the Islamic State of Iraq, the Youth Mujahideen Movement in Somalia and the al-Qa`idah Organization in the Arabian Peninsula? And from every movement that rules by the ruling system in the Arab and Islamic States and fights it! And may Allah bless you and protect you from all harm, we do not forget you in our prayers - Allah willing!

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Youth Mujahideen Movement in Somalia are considered among the best of the Jihadist movements in the field. In truth they have also sacrificed a lot in the path of ending the injustice and humiliation against the Islamic Nation. They are our brothers, I ask Allah that He may support them and give them victory.

Esteemed Sheikh, the leader “Sirajudeen Haqqani”.

Peace, and the mercy of Allah, and His blessings be upon you.

First: We send our greetings to your Eminence.

As we send our greetings to the rest of the leaders and heroes and the soldiers who broke the nose of tyrants of the age, the Crusaders. They were a glory to Islam and the Muslims and they were a smack on the forehead of time. And by Allah we pray for you in our prayers, and we ask Allah that we are with you and that Allah be with you.

And we convey our greeting to the Amir of the Faithful and Sun of our time and leader of the Ummah of the Muslims, the good Mujahid brother: Mullah Muhammad Umar, may Allah support him and enable him. We noticed weakness in the production of the releases, especially in the Islamic Emirate, may Allah keep her and enable her – when comparing the size of her operations and power with other Jihad areas. Likewise there is a shortage in the releases with the importance of the Jihadist media. Is the reason for this a shortage of media staff?

And greetings to the Taliban, grace and mercy.

And peace, Allah’s mercy and His blessings be upon you.

We have two fields in Afghanistan – internal and external. And within Afghanistan we present media materials to our people according to their level, culture, and habit. Our enemy acknowledged that and said: that the Islamic Emirate preceded us in this area. And on the side of the external media, the main reason for the weakness of the media is the blockage against us and our deprivation at the hands of the global media belonging to America and the West and our shortage of necessary means.

May Allah preserve your life our Sheikh of the Mujahideen, and I ask Allah that He steady you, and that He support you, and that He reward you the best and add to your charity and good things.

1) What value does the Taliban movement place on ideological, intellectual and religious education?

2) What is your advice to the HAMAS movement in Palestine? And what is the way to liberate Jerusalem and Palestine?

3) Does the Taliban movement accept all cooperation from anyone even if it was an innovator deviant like the Shi`ites and the grave worshippers and others? Or is it that the movement does not cooperate except with those who have the correct creed as a whole?

Answer 2: Our advice is that you do not leave the doctrine of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’a or the Islamic doctrine, and that you endure through disasters. In order to liberate Jerusalem you must follow the path of Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi, Allah have mercy on him, and this suffices.

Answer 3: We take assistance from any person from whom Shari`ah law permits taking assistance.

In the name of Allah, the most Merciful and Compassionate.

My question is: What is your creed? And what is the creed of the Taliban? And are the rumours that are put forward about you having some innovations practiced by grave worshippers true? We want to defend you our esteemed Sheikh and they said this to us. May Allah bless you.

Are you still until now doubting what our creed is, or the creed of the Taliban? And are you still until now thinking that we are among the innovators and worshippers of the graves?! This was a widespread rumour that were magnified and expanded among people during the days of the Afghani Jihad against the Russians, in order to block the people from Jihad in the path of Allah, and send them to other purposes.

But I assure you, and reassure you and the Muslims, that the creed of the Taliban is based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and most of the Shi`ite Afghan Muslims are united on the Hanafi ideology. They are attributed to Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’a, the presence of some Shi`ite minorities and some people of Sufism. It is not possible to find in the world people united on a single creed. For example, the Arabian Peninsula is where inspiration descended, and from her the light of the Prophet emerged. Even there, there are sects from the Shi`ites, like the Twelvers and the Isma`iliyah and secular ones, even though most of the people in the Peninsula are from Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’a. The people there are safe and reassured. So how is it for the Afghan people, who weathered the wars, the destruction, ignorance, expulsion and hunger?

It has been thirty years of war after war, against the strongest forces in the world. And throughout all this, we are tenacious in our faith, our principles and our creed. We are all upon the creed, and we fight for her sake, and I advise my brothers to read the "Balance Book for the Taliban Movement", by the Martyred Mujahid Sheikh Yusuf al-`Ayiri, Allah’s grace is all encompassing.

In the name of Allah, the most Merciful and Compassionate, in whom I take refuge, and prayers and peace upon the most honoured of the Messengers, Muhammad and on his family and Companions in their entirety and all who follow him in goodness until Judgement Day. Praise Allah, victory to His worshippers the Mujahideen, and no aggression except on the oppressors.

We direct this to the Mujahid leader, one the lions of Tawheed in the Islamic Emirate, Haqqani, may Allah keep him and watch after him: We want you to make clear to us what happened in the province of Helmand and especially in Marjah village? What is the truth of the campaign that America led there; that the media exaggerated? And what is the extent of the preparations on your part? How are things with the Amir of the Faithful Mullah Muhammad Umar, may Allah keep him and watch after him, and Sheikh Usamah Bin Ladin, may Allah keep him and watch after him? May Allah protect you and may He watch over you, so that the sincere Muslims will pray for you with support and enabling and they reward those in the Jihad with you. And peace, Allah’s mercy and His blessings upon from your brother that loves you for the sake of Allah, “Muhibb al-Sahabah al-Maghribi”, from the countries of the Maghrib (North Africa) al-Aqsa, the country of Yusuf Bin Tashfin, may Allah have mercy on him, and please keep us in your prayers.

5) Does the leadership of the Islamic Emirate intend to carry out prisoner exchange operations with the Americans? Is this restricted to families of the Afghans, or will it include others from among the Muslim prisoners?

Answer 2: The Haqqani Group or the Haqqani Network Group is not an official name or a name we chose. This name is used by the enemies in order to divide the Mujahideen. We are under the highly capable Emirate of the Amir of the Faithful Mullah Umar, may Allah protect him, and we wage Jihad in the path of Allah. The name of Islamic Emirate is the official name for us and all the Mujahideen in Afghanistan.

Answer 3: Yes, all the Mujahideen in Afghanistan are obligated to follow the regulations issued by the Islamic Emirate

Answer 4: We never burned down girls’ schools. This is a sheer lie and this amazing ploy was started by the Crusaders. They build schools for girls in order to win the hearts of the public, and then they burn them down in order to defame the reputation of the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate. This is also one of the accusations that was issued by the Crusader intelligence agencies, and is one of the games from their tricks.

Answer 5: From the legal standpoint, freeing all the Muslim prisoners is a duty and we work for this according to Islamic Shari`ah. The Prophet said, Allah bless him and grant him salvation “release al-`Ani” and al-`Ani was the prisoner. And in closing, I direct an appeal to our Muslim brothers in general and to the thinkers and the writers and the merchants and the experts and the youths and the media staff and to all who can help us in our issue and our Jihad. Whether in fatwa’s and opinions or in preparing the combatants and delivering the charity mandated by Allah to the combatants in His path. Or with military expertise, medical expertise, technical expertise, or media expertise through the satellite news channels, and the Islamic news sites on the Web, and through the newspapers and magazines and all means possible, for the countries of the heretics met on with her iron and her horses and her leg. They came with air planes, tanks, missiles, and advanced weapons, thinkers and geniuses. They spent millions and billions of dollars on the Muslim people and the entire world so that they can spread corruption, vices, degenerate ways, and secularism. They do all this so that they can replace our creeds and corrupt our religion. We seek for you victory in the religion and Allah said: {And if they seek aid from you in the matter of religion, aid is incumbent on you }. And we do not forget that we direct all thanks, appreciation and respect to the brothers engaged in “The Ansar al-Mujahideen Network” and to all the respectable brothers who honoured in directing questions and inquiries pertaining to the Islamic Emirate in general or pertaining to your brother (Sirajudeen) especially. And I repeat thanks to the brothers who asked questions, and I apologize for leaving some questions and answers out, because they did not relate to me, and some of them were repetitive and was satisfied in a single reply. All errors or neglect in this interview are from Shaitan, and the good and right in it are by the grace of Allah alone, and grace, peace, and the blessings of Allah be upon you and His forgiveness.

And we in turn we thank his Eminence Sheikh Sirajudeen Haqqani – may Allah protect him - on permitting this blessed opportunity. We ask Allah, the Almighty, to make the Sheikh and his supporters an arrow in the eyes of the enemies of the Ummah, and that He grants us and our Sheikh martyrdom facing the enemy, not retreating.
