Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir:
The Obligation Of Jihad Is The Same As Fasting In Ramadhan
Rajab 22, 1433 A.H, Wednesday, June 13, 2012
JAKARTA
- Ustadz Abu Bakar Baasyir, amidst the visit by the
Jama’ah and his relatives, delivered
some tausiyah (advices) for the
Muslims about the obligation of Jihad which occupies the position of the
obligation of the ibaadah of fasting
in Ramadhan.
"Basically, the ruling of Jihad is wajib
for every Muslim, the same thing with the obligation of the ibaadah of Sawm
in Ramadhan and other ibaadahs,” said Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba'asyir
through the facebook website of
Ustadz Hasyim Abdullah, Jakarta, Friday (8/6)
This man who is intimately known as Ustadz Abu continued, that the verse
that obligates the fasting of Ramadan has the same editorship as the verse
that obligates jihad while asking his guests about the sound of the verse
which obligates the fasting of Ramadhan (Qs : 2: 183) and was responded by
his guests,
"Kutiba 'alaikumus
siyam".
“True, the verse is preceded with the
kalimah of ‘Kutiba’, meaning, ‘It is Cumpolsory’, in the command of jihad
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'alaa also prescribed jihad to the Muslims with the
same kalimah, i.e. ‘Kutiba 'Alaikumul Qital’,"
(Qs:2:216),” he explained.
This Amir of the JAT then continued
to ask his guests, whether there is any similarity between the sounding of
the two verses, which was then answered as equal by his guests and Ustadz
Abu thus regrets the attitude of the Muslims who do not respond to the the
call equally.
“If they are equal, then why, when Allah
commands "Kutiba 'Alaikumus
Siyam" all Muslims perform the Sawm
of Ramadhan. However, when comes to the command of the same kalimah,
"Kutiba 'Alaikumul Qital"
we are not performing it, a vast
majority even refused?” asked Ustadz Abu.
He added, the weakness of the response to the call of Jihad by a vast
majority of the Islamic Ummah, is also exacerbated by the
fatwas of the
Suu’ (bad/rotten)
Ulama's.
“In fact, there are even Suu’ ulama's who
are paid by the thaghut, who dare to say that Jihad is not compulsory.
Whereas, the daleel of its commandment is already clear in Al-Qur'an and As-sunnah.”
Ustadz Abu also reminded that, explaining the reality of that obligation of
jihad is the responsibility of those who already understand it so as to be
clarified and communicated to the Muslims who have yet to understand it.
“It is our duty, to convey to the ummah in
order to make the people aware of their obligations. Know that.. this deed
of Jihad is the deed that we must love after we love Allah and Rasulullah,
see QS:9:24," he concluded.
Meanwhile, Ustadz Hasyim Abdullah also reported that Ustadz Abu Bakar
Ba'asyir has been in a healthy condition so far.
Alhamdulillah.
