The
residence of the prosecuted Bali Bombing I case, Amrozi and Ali Ghufron in
Tenggulun, Sologuro, Lamongan, was swarmed by a lot (dozens) of people from
Surabaya who are affiliated to the Laskar Anshorud Tauhid.They arrived in the afternoon led by Ustadz Zulkarnaen and straight away set up banners and presented a speech that sounded out a tone of moral supports for the three warriors and their families.
Their arrival was received by Amrozi’s mother, Tariyem. The masses asked Amrozi’s family to remain patient in undergoing all kinds of trial.
"Mother Tariyem is a mother figure who is successful in raising young Mujahids, therefore we insist that the execution of Amrozi should be cancelled," he told the reporters, Thursday (6/11/2008).
Before leaving, they also put up a banner which said, “3 Died, Another 3000 Appeared”. When they left another different group arrived, this time the people arrived using the transportations of Muhammadiyah Teens Academy (Ikatan Remaja Muhammadiyah) who also swarmed the residence of Amrozi’s family. Similar to the Laskar Anshorud Tauhid, they also gave moral supports to the family of the people’s heroes.
Once Again, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba'asyir And Hundreds Of Muslims Protested The Execution
After
performing the Friday prayer, 7th Novembar 2008, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba'asyir, Amir
of Jamaah Anshoru Tauhid, together with the hundreds of Muslims in Solo once
again organized a demonstration protesting the execution of the three accused
Bali Bombing I case.The demonstration which was joined by hundreds of people did not only involve the Laskar of Anshoru Tauhid, but also other various laskar and Islamic devotees from a number of madrasa's in Surakarta.
In the statement read Ustadz Abu Bakar, he considered the execution decided by the government as a cruel decision and not based on facts because the government actually still could not produce substantial evidence to prove that Amrozi and friends were the real offenders. The allegation that called them terrorist all these time was also objected, because they were fighting against the injustices of the American terrorists and their collaborators.
Other than that, he also appealed to the entire Islamic ummah to make doa and perform qunut nazilah as well as to keep on with the struggle Jihad Fi Sabilillah to establish Islam on earth. Also given was the greetings of “welcome” for the foreign Mujahideen who received the call of Jihad and are migrating to Indonesia.
The laskars and the Islamic ummah looked very enthusiastic in their participation of the demonstration which was held in Bundaran Gladag Solo.
