Between Gayus And Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba'asyir

The
news about Gayus Tambunan, a corruption case prisoner, escaping from custody at
Mako Brimob is shocking this republic. Why not, the prison of the Brimob Command
HQ is known as a high security prison, but lately this status is fading
away when the suspected corruptor, Gayus Tambunan, was free to roam out of jail
to enjoy a holiday in Bali. Not long after that, Gayus was soon taken back to
jail, he was not alone but invited along a police officer who helped him to
escape.
This position contrasts with Ustadz
Abu Bakar Ba’asyir. He is a charismatic ulama' in this country, who is
known to have no “protective screens” in delivering da'wah. Since the
New Order, he is an ulama' who had very firmly and courageously opposed
the application of the
Pancasila as the unique
philosophy of the state (an ideology manipulated by the authoritarian regime of
Suharto), until at some point in the Newest Order (referred to by some people as
Reformed Order) that unique philosophy of the state was finally revoked. If we
look right, it was actually Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir who, from the beginning,
struggled against the unique philosophy of the state of Pancasila, which had
caused him to be frequently thrown in and out jail. But what form of recognition
is given in return by the government to these elderly ulama'? Prison!
Yes, that's what he is feeling in his own native country.
When compared to Gayus, there are some
things which are very ironic, discriminative and tyrannical in the conducts of
the rulers of this country on Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir who is currently
detained in the Bareskrim (Criminal Investigation Agency) of the POLRI
(Police of Republic of Indonesia) Main HQ.
Firstly, before the arrest of
Gayus Tambunan, the POLRI had repeatedly sent summons letters to him. This
summons is a standard police procedure against the people who are to be
investigated on a case. When the person going to be investigated does not turn
up, then the police will usually make him as a DPO (wanted person), who has to
be arrested.
Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, until the
time he was arrested, was never given a letter of summons by the police.
Whereas, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir had many times said that he was ready to be
called to the police stations at any time. And until the last moment of his
arrest, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir was never included in the police wanted list
at all.
Secondly, Gayus Tambunan was
arrested because of a disgraceful case that violates the religious rules, as
well as the rules of the State. The corruption case of Gayus has reputedly
caused the state to lose up to billions, or even trillions of rupiah.
While, Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir was
arrested precisely because of carrying out religious orders, and it was laden
with the interests of America.
The activities of Ustadz Abu Bakar
Ba’asyir all this time was no other than conducting da'wah to the
Islamic ummah, anywhere, starting from the state leaders to the
ordinary people, for the implementation of the Islamic Shari’a in
Indonesia. Why? Because this Muslim majority country should see the independence
as a gift from Allah and they should be grateful for it by administrating the
country with the Islamic system, not a secular system of democracy that is
contrary to Islam.
The accusation which once was hurled
at him, that he is connected to a series of bombings, was also never proven at
all.
Next is the evidence of the existence
of American interests. Since the first arrest of Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, it
had been expressed by an envoy of the White House named Tom Ridge during the
time of Megawati's administration. Tom, without hesitation flatly put across the
message of America. The content of which was, “Abu Bakar Baasyir
must be brought to trial in a different way.” The speech was
itself explicated by Frederick Burks, the language translator, who at that time
was used by Tom in a meeting with a Mega in the District Court, South Jakarta.
If in the era of Megawati, where SBY
became the Minister of Law and Security Policy Coordinator, when he was on a
visit to America in 2003, he stated, “I love the United State, with
all its faults. I consider it my second country.” And today it is
possible that SBY has proven his words, by arresting Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir,
using the charges of “terrorism”, in the interval of only two days after he
vented that he was receiving terror threats.
Thirdly, the arrest of Gayus
was more honourable than the arrest Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, whereas Ustadz
Abu is an ulama' and Gayus is no more than a thief of the public money.
“Gayus was intercepted in Malaysia before being brought to Indonesia, but
when Ba’asyir was arrested it was similar to the attack on Mavi Marmara ship by
the Israeli military.” This had been disclosed by Ustadz Abdurrahman, the
Kathib of Jama’ah Ansharut Tauhid (JAT).
Fourthly, while in custody, Gayus Tambunan can freely go in and out of
prison. Just imagine, from the data obtained, it had been 19 times that Gayus
went in and out of prison in August and September 2010, as many as 24 times in
October 2010 and so far in this November, Gayus had already been out of the
detention centre as many as two times.
Whereas, as for Ustadz Abu Bakar
Ba’asyir, he is even prohibited to perform acts of ibaadah. From the
‘Eidul Fitri prayer to 'Eiddul Adha, he was never allowed at all
to pray outside. So repressive are the conducts of the police of this country,
to the extent of prohibiting the most fundamental human right i.e. ibaadah.
Where is the constitution of this country which they say guarantees the freedom
of worship, have the contents of the article been deleted???
Thus were the discriminatory and oppressive treatments by the rulers of this
secular country on an elderly ulama’. And surely Allah would not just
stand aside when his slaves are oppressed. As a proof, Allah keeps on exposing
the depravity of this country's law enforcement institutions. Starting from the
discovery of the cases of judicial and tax Mafia through Gayus, and then the
case of the fat bank accounts of the POLRI at the end of the office term of
Bambang Hendarso Danuri, to the recent bribery case of Gayus at Mako Brimob when
it was only a few days after Timur Pradopo served as the new Chief of Police. If
the law enforcement institutions continue to arbitrarily punish the ulama’s
and mujahids, just wait, what other humiliation and adzab
would be
inflicted on the oppressive institutions of this country!

Ustadz Aman Abdurrahman (may Allah SWT free him) in prison?
According to a reliable information, Ustadz Aman at this
time is being increasingly oppressed! He has been
transferred to a cell in which the height is only about the
level of a person in ruku’ (in solat). Is this so?
How can this be let to happen to a Muwwahid Muslim?

The IslamoPhobia of the Apparatuses
Why does Ustadz Aman has
to move cell often and be isolated? The fear of the truth
(Islam) is the main reason why Ustadz Aman has to endure
isolations to this day. The governmental apparatuses are
worried that Ustadz Aman, the struggler of tawheed,
would continue to provide spiritual recharge to other
detainees.
In his footnote, Ustadz Aman stated:
While at the Reskrim (Criminal Investigation Bureau of police), the Densus 88 ordered that I be transferred to the Narkoba (confinement for Drugs cases) , because at the Reskrim, I could fill in the time with ta'lim for the brothers there, whereas the Densus 88 does not like it. At Narkoba, though alone in the cell and unable to conduct ta'lim, some ikhwans, though infrequent, like to send me questions on paper, and even that does not escape the observation of the Densus 88 who have agents amongst the prisoner ikhwans who reported that correspondence to the Densus 88 that I was conducting ta'lim through paper, and the Densus 88 have also often cautioned the ikhwans to not be near or chat with me because I am “dangerous” or “his mind is too extreme”, so they say. However, the ikhwans like to go against and show an attitude of indifference to those admonitions. Therefore, the only way which is right according to them is to keep me away from the ikhwans by means of isolation, and with it they are reaping the manifold of adzab (punishment) for their kufr and the hindering of others from the way of Allah.
الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ زِدْنَاهُمْ عَذَابًا فَوْقَ الْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يُفْسِدُونَ
“Those who disbelieved and
averted [others] from the way of Allah – We will increase
them in punishment over [their] punishment for what
corruption they were causing.” [An-Nahl: 88]
They plot, and Allah answers their plots, while victory is
certainly with Allah Ta’ala…
