Clarification
and Message from One of
the Commanders of Jihad in Aceh,

– A message in the form of a letter was received by the
editors of arrahmah.com from Ustadz Abu Musa Ath Thoyyar (Ubaid)
an Aceh “terrorism” suspect. He, along with other ikhwans
were arrested related to the military training in Aceh a few
months ago. Until now, the military training in Aceh still
becomes an unrevealed mystery. What does Ustadz Abu Musa Ath
Thoyyar (Ubaid) say about the military training in Aceh? The
following is the content of his message:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ
الرَّحِيمِ
Alhamdulillah wahdahu wa sholatu wassalam ala rosulillah
wa ala ilahu wa man walahu, wa ba'du...
We have heard of various comments and reactions from the
Islamic ummah generally and the activist ikhwans
specifically, about us who conducted the military training in
Aceh until we were finally arrested.
We regret very much the many comments, analyses and conclusion
which are only based on issues, assumptions or information
from the medias which normally fabricate facts. Sometimes it
increasingly aggravates the sadness that we are feeling.
What alleviate our sadness is that we keep trying to be having
good thoughts that most of those comments and analyses were
made because of their zeal to defend the Islamic ummah.
We admit that we are not clean of errors. But the various
efforts that we are mustering and the various conditions that
we have faced during the preparation until we are arrested,
and until now, may they become the udzur or removers
of those errors.
While this condition does not permit us
to give an explanation of what really happened. Therefore, I
am asserting here, what had been said by Shaykh-ul-Islam:
"If you find me in the ranks of the
enemies of the Islamic ummah which all these while have been
tormenting you, then kill me, even if the Qur'an is above my
head."
Lastly, but not sure if it would reach them or not, we would
like to convey our greetings to Shaykh Usamah, Shaykh Ayman,
etc. that here are your sons, who have never known you, with
all the capabilities, trying to build a jama'ah who
will become soldiers who are obedient under your leadership.
But in the end only Allah decides the outcome. And there's
nothing we can do except to be pleased with His decision.
O Allah make us firm in Your Path, until we attain khusnul
khotimah.
