Pearls of Jannah

The Shaykh, may Allah have mercy upon him, was born 1397 Hijri in the city of ar-Riyadh. He joined the Scientific Institute in ash-Shafa in the intermediate and secondary levels. After graduating from Secondary levels, he joined the Shari`ah faculty of al-Imam University in ar-Riyadh. He graduated from al-Imam University with an average of “Very Good” in the year 1420 Hijri.

Then came his nomination to serve in the judiciary; two years passed, and he was working for the urgent cases for the Court in ar-Riyadh. Later, the Shaykh studied at the Higher Institute for Court Cases for some months. After the second stage of the Jihad in Chechnya and Dagistan, the Shaykh started to support them economically, in the words of the Prophet ملسو هيلع .ا ىلص:

ازغ دقف .ا ليبس . ًايزاغ زهج نم

“He who has prepared a Ghazi Fi Sabiilillah, it is as if he has fought (i.e. he gets the same reward as the Ghazi).” [Bukhari & Muslim]

And the Saying of the Prophet ملسو هيلع .ا ىلص:

مكتنسلأو مكيديأو مكلاومأب .كرش.ا اودهاج

"Make Jihad against the Mushrikin with your Money and your Hands and your Tongues." [Ahmad & Abu Dawud]

The Shaykh managed to have significant achievements in raising funds, which is most important for the continuation of any Jihad. After the blessed Ghazwah of New York and Washington, the Shaykh wanted to join his brothers, the Mujahideen in Afghanistan, but he did not succeed so he returned to the Arabian Peninsula through Syria where he was arrested by the Nasiriyah Intelligence. The Shaykh spent some time in their prisons before the Nasiriyah handed him over to the Saudi Arabian government, which in turn put him in the Prison of al-Ha'ir. The Shaykh was then released after a short time. After his release, the Shaykh did not abstain from the Jihad and the ordeals that he underwent did not break his resolve but he would say that those were one of the best days of his life. So the Shaykh supported the Mujahidin financially and by opinions.

The Shaykh mostly concentrated his efforts in the Media field as the Shaykh was convinced of the importance of Media in attracting the Ansar and his high efficiency in the Media field. The Shaykh worked hard with perseverance with the Shaykh Shahid Yusuf al-`Uyayri .ا ه.ر on the Internet site of ad-Dirasat.

The Shaykh was greatly influenced by Shaykh al-`Uyayri; the influence was so great that he wrote a Turjamah for him after his Martyrdom:

“We will not forget you O Aba Muhammad, and Wallahi it is hard for a person to forget your influence and we saw you doing things for the support of the Jihad what none of the organized institutions or focused efforts have done! Truly you were a unique and precious example; all of your time was spent for the Jihad and the Mujahideen.”

The Shaykh was responsible for the overseeing of the "Center of Studies and Islamic Researches" site after the Martyrdom of Shaykh al-`Uyayri. Then the Shaykh, along with a group of his brothers, founded the site Sawt al-Jihad, and the Shaykh was the Chief Editor of the Sawt al-Jihad Magazine which was mandated by the Commander `Abdul-`Aziz al-Muqrin .ا ه.ر. The Shaykh was also the supervisor of al-Battar, one of the workers in As-Sahab, and was a commentator in the famous Publication of Badr ar-Riyadh.

The Shaykh was put on the Honor list of the 26 most wanted, which was issued by the regime of al-Salul obeying the orders of its Master, the Americans. The Shaykh was forced to adapt to the new situation, and it was a new phase in chasing and harassment. The Shaykh was careful that this would not affect his struggle in the Media Wing.

In the night of Tuesday, third of Jamadi al-akhirah in the year of 1425, the Murtadun raided one of the houses of the Mujahideen in Northern Riyadh. Abu Sa`d (`Isa ibn Sa`d) and a group of brothers were in that house. The Shaykh suggested that he would give them cover for them to withdraw which he did; a brother was martyred but the rest of the group managed to escape the Security ring around their house. The Shaykh was Martyred and buried in the graveyard of Al-Mansuriyah next to his friends, Khalid As-Subayt and Abdul-`Aziz al-Muqrin.
