Al Qaeda's Methodology Of Struggle - Does It Originate
From Planet Mars?
10-07-2008
It
is so amazing that a lot of ‘ulamas’ or muslim scholars, when asked by the many
news channels about their view of Al Qaeda, they told them that they do not
understand the methodology (manhaj) of struggle by the Al-Qaeda!!!
Is the manhaj of Al Qaeda too complicated that make it difficult for the ulamas
to comprehend?
Or is the ideology (fikrah) of Al Qaeda that mysterious?
Is it true that the fundamental beliefs of Al Qaeda is very unusual that the
ulamas are not capable of understanding it entirely?
If you ask these ulamas, who come from the various islamic harakah (movement),
tanzim (organization) or islamic party, be it the older ones or those that had
just been set up, great or small ones, the popular or the less known
organizations, with regards to the vision or fikrah or mafahim (understanding)
of Al Qaeda, it is a “disgrace” and unacceptable if these ulamas say “I don't
know”. Words like “I don't know” certainly reduce their scholarly credibility.
Not to mention if the ulama is involved and have a post in the political arena
(how can an intellectual, an alim, a political figure who surely need
popularity, say “I don't know…”)
Well, we can accept that when these ‘ulamas’ said they do not know nor
understand the fikrah of Al Qaeda, maybe they feel that they do not need to know
or that they do not have the interest to learn the manhaj Al Qaeda. We can also
acknowledge that maybe those ulamas have their own personal reasons for not
having the interests in making any effort to study the manhaj of Al Qaeda. In
the name of individual personal feedom, it is their right to be like that, and
it is enough reason for us to stop annoying them by raising these issues
further.
But then, when asked by a journalists about the flag/slogan of Al Qaeda, one of
the ‘kibarul ulamas’ (great ulamas) said, “I dont really pay attention to the
manhaj of Al Qaeda but if all that's occurring in the world today is a part of
Al Qaeda's work, then it is an issue and a bad reality”. That's more or less
what he said.
These are the words of a 'great ulama’ in Iraq, and there are many other
‘ulamas’ who are imitating his words, whether inside or outside Iraq, until such
words have become a standard form of speech for them.
(These people are saying “I do not know a thing about Al Qaeda”, but at the same
time they are also stating “Al Qaeda is the source of all the evil and
misfortune in this world”)
If we see this as the personal right of the ‘ulama’ to act and say like that,
then we also do not have the right to blame the western society who through
their lacking of information, are accusing Islam as a religion of fascism,
ignorance and backwardness because it is alo their personal rights likewise.
The western society is accusing Islam as such because they are seeing a few
aspects of backwardness in a small portion of the muslim migrant population
living in their countries (western countries). They make up their mind by trying
to balance between the scale of ‘the superb and glorious majority’ and ‘the
isolated and backward minority’, without making an effort to find out or study
the reality of Islam and its true basic teachings. Because of being uninformed,
they are blaming Islam with whatever the prejudices they want!!!
See The Similarity?
Can the Muslim scholars and ulamas blame the western society for accusing Islam
with all kind of baseless accusations, and made up their mind from just having a
glimpse at Islam without even trying to understand its reality? They are using
an erroneous analogy but consider themselves as proficient enough to judge
Islam, because they feel they are ‘advanced’ enough to understand Islam and all
aspects of its teachings since every ‘material’ about Islam are widely available
on the internet… they reckon they have adequate capability to evaluate Islam
without even collecting valid and comprehensive informations from reliable
sources, or do they feel they can make judgement even after admitting that they
don't bother to find out the reality of Islam?!!!
(Those ulamas would surely say that the western society
are unfair for accusing Islam without even knowing the reality of Islam. Those
ulamas would again say that the western society are bias when they admitted that
they do not have enough reliable information about Islam but keep on accusing
Islam with all those wild accusations. See the hypocrisy? Na'uzubillah)
If you ask a teenager in the mountains of Himalaya, or an old man in the rural
village of Africa, or a pedestrian in the street of New York, about Al Qaeda and
its goal, they would surely respond to your question immediately with
enthusiasm, regardless of whether they are pro or contra to Al Qaeda, and you
would not find them saying “I dont know”, because it is something unacceptable!
Because the fact is that there is no other movement or organization that is as
well-known as Al Qaeda at the moment. But it is strange that if we ask our
‘ulama’ about Al Qaeda, they would say that they do not know. Indeed it is such
an irony, and this what had been forewarned by our Prophet (SAW) and it is
what's has been termed as ‘the calamity of the ulamas’.
If you ask these 'ulamas' about the theory of relativity,
they would surely respond to you instantly with enthusiasm, regardless of
whether their responses are correct or wrong, because in most cases they would
not dare to say “I don't know” when it comes to this famous theory.
How very embarrassing for the people of a cultured society if they know nothing
about the theory of relativity.
Even an uneducated person would avoid saying “I don't know”, so how can it be is
so easy for the ulamas to say “I don't know”?
Is the theory of relativity more popular and easier to understand than the
manhaj of Al Qaeda? Or is the manhaj of Al Qaeda exceedingly complicated,
surpassing the complexity of the theory of relativity?
Among the common signs of a successful movement in history is that the manhaj
of that movement should be:
Very clear
Very simple/straight forward
Easily acceptable
And the goal of the movement should be:
Precise and accurate
Easily monitored and explored
Able to fulfill the expectation of the executor
Concerning the manhaj of Al Qaeda which a lot of people claimed they do not
understand, know that Al Qaeda does not have a manhaj other than the Dien Islam
which raised the status of the ulama.
If communism based its methodology upon the fikrah of Marx and Hegel, and made
their ideas as a dien (religion), then Al Qaeda adopts Dien Islam as its manhaj.
Indeed the difference is like that of heaven and earth if we were to compare the
people who takes a human's ideas as his dien to people who take Dien Allah as
their manhaj.
The Battle Front of the War on terrorism as declared by the American regime are
divided into three categories:
1. Attacking the bases of 'terrorism' in Afghanistan and cutting off its supply
lines
2. Protecting America from further future attacks
3. Attacking the ideology of 'terrorism' and defeating it
After seeing the three battle fronts above, we would instantly realize that they
(America) will be defeated.
They have failed at the first stage, because the ‘terrorists’ do not posses even
a base in the area, that can qualify as a target for attack, and what we have
called ‘training camp’ in Afghanistan is no more than a territory made up of
barren lands, not a fixed and real training camp!
Meanwhile concerning the protection of America from the next attack, it is
really something that is hard to achieve. And the decrease or the absence of
attacks on America lately, does not mean that attacks on America have
permanently stopped. This is just an issue of the right time, because every
mission has its allocated time. The legendary 9/11 attack needed at least 5
years period for its preparation. And as a plan, it was already drafted 20 years
earlier (since the Lebanon war in the 80's as revealed by Sheikh Usamah bin
Ladin).
As for targeting to ‘cut off’ the inspirational sources and to make Al Qaeda
'dead before its outspread', by fighting and defeating the 'terrorists'
ideology/fikrah, then in actuality it is the same as fighting the fikrah of
Islam.
Specific to this front, we will not get much involved in this battle because it
is a battle arena for a group of 'Neo Conservatices' with their ideology of
Globalism against Allah (SWT) The Almighty, Who sends down this Dien Islam. Who
will be the winner here? A simple fact that does not need an extensive
clarification if the one reading this is a muslim or at least those of the
muslim ‘scholars’.
The flag/slogan of Al Qaeda is very simple. It says:
“Al Quran is the guide and the swords help”
(Just like what Sheikhul Islam Ibnu Taimiyyah said, on his commentary of verse
25 of Surat Al Hadid, “… and this Dien Islam is established, by the Book [Al
Quran] which guides, and the Iron [sword] which supports”)
This is more comprehensible and lighter compared to the slogans of other
numerous organizations and Islamic jamaah (groups). And it is certainly shorter
than the slogan of,
“The throne of power is our aim
And the West is our role model
And referendum-elections is our Qur'an
And living in the way parliament is our highest ambition”
Whereas for the goal of Al Qaeda…It is not something that requires deep thinking
like the subject of logarithm or the equation in al jabar (algebra). The aim of
Al Qaeda is simple and clear.
One of its immediate objective or strategy is summarized in the motto:
“I swear by Allah, the Almighty, Who erected the sky without pillars, America
and the people who live in America won't find peace and security, until we feel
peace and security in Palestine, and all the kafir forces and their might depart
from the Holy Land, the birthplace of the Prophet (SAW)”.
Allahu Akbar!
Honor is only for Islam
Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon you all.
