America Is Reluctant To Leave Afghanistan For The Sake Of Opium

Shawwāl  16, 1432 A.H, Thursday, September 15, 2011

The Taliban Mujahideen under the Islamic Emirate had stopped the production of opium in Afghanistan, however, after the invasion of Afghanistan, the American terrorists have been producing opium and Afghanistan becomes the largest supplier in the global marketplace reaching to nearly 90 percents.

The production of opium in 2001, the year when the war was launched by the American invading terrorists, was 185 tons, where most of the production were in the areas controlled by the Northern Alliance which is supported by America, Europe and many other countries. The production of opium in Afghanistan before that was 3,600 tons.

As for today, after the American invasion and the deployment of more than 150,000 American troops, they have transformed Afghanistan into the world's largest opium fields with production of more than 9,000 tons, although the authorities and the UN tried to manipulate the numbers and make it less than the real number, i.e. around 1,000 tons.

According to the Russian anti-drug chief, that amount generates a revenue reaching 640 billion dollars per year. While the income of the farmers do not reach 4 billions, assuming the best. And the remaining income goes into the pockets of America and particularly into bank accounts of drug mafias in America and the UK.

Both those countries, America and the U.K. have factories producing heroin in Afghanistan. And all those factories are housed within the military bases which have maximum security and secrecy.

The military strength of both countries, their satellite surveillance capability, airspace control and the ability to destroy ground targets anywhere, all those prevent any party from competing with them in this sector. This often angered a number of countries which are friends to America, where some of those countries have troops who fought under the command of America in Afghanistan.

Please note, that the poppy cultivation under the Islamic Emirate had come to a standstill, but under the American invaders Afghanistan has become the world's leading supplier of opium, managing to produce almost 90 percent of global supply.
