American Christian kafir terrorists military Lied to its Public to Fan War A pair of high-profile American army figures revealed the military was spreading outright lies and manipulating their stories for a hero-starved public, during testimony before Congress Tuesday. One was Kevin Tillman, the brother of a football star killed by so-called "friendly fire" in Afghanistan three years ago, who said the military lied about the circumstances of his death to avoid a public relations fiasco and to draw attention from the Abu Ghraib prison scandal. The other was Jessica Lynch, a female soldier who decried her inaccurate portrayal as a "little girl rambo," firing her weapon down to the last bullet before being captured by Iraqis in early 2003, and then saved by American forces nine days later. She told the house government reform committee hearing on "misleading information from the battlefield: "It was not true ... I'm still confused as to why they choose to lie and try to make me a legend." Kevin Tillman told the congressional hearing that family members initially believed the American military's accounts that his brother, Pat Tillman, fought valiantly to the death during a fire fight in Afghanistan on April 22, 2004.

The War Goes Ever On Bush's invasion of Iraq had no justification. Continuing the war has no positive effects. Each day that the war continues produces more pointless casualties, more red ink and dependence on foreign creditors, more trauma, and more hatreds. The Bush administration is continuing the war without a realizable or defensible goal. Although the Iraqi government is supposedly a democratically elected majority-Shi'ite government, in reality it is a creature of the U.S. occupation without real power and without public support.

US Fails to Press Russia over Missile Shield The United States will make a new pitch to Russia at NATO talks in Oslo on Thursday over its planned missile defence shield in Eastern Europe, but diplomats doubt there will be any movement from Moscow soon. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and her NATO counterparts will meet Lavrov three days after US Defense Secretary Robert Gates failed during a trip to Moscow to convince Russia the shield was not a strategic threat to it. Washington angered Moscow and unnerved some allies with its plan to deploy 10 missile interceptors in Poland and radar in the Czech Republic from 2012 to help shield the United States from what it sees as possible attacks by other countries. Gates spoke of progress at the talks but Lavrov said on Tuesday Moscow saw no interest in joining a project it felt had already been pre-determined in Washington. Alliance officials played down hopes of a breakthrough in Oslo.

I am not asking for your approval If I tell you that I am comfortable as a hijabi, and do not feel the least restricted, why do you still feel the need to speak down to me as if I am a child?...My experiences, that are mine and not to be generalized for other hijabis, have illustrated that the concern is not my oppression, but the inaccessibility of hijabi bodies and a general discomfort with those who have no problems with visible signs of cultural and religious difference.

Jewish rabbi Caught Red Handed in Pedophile Sting Well damn it, it appears that YouTube will not allow me to post videos directly on my blog. Fortunately they cannot yet prevent me from posting links to their videos. These people haven't yet concluded the obvious, we are in control, not them. Here is a video showing a Rabbi caught red handed seeking to have anal sex with a 13 year old boy. Believe it or not, this is NOT uncommon behavior for Rabbis.

Making the World Safe for Hypocrisy Why has the United States government supported counterinsurgency in Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, and many other places around the world, at such a loss of human life to the populations of those nations? Why did it invade tiny Grenada and then Panama? Why did it support mercenary wars against progressive governments in Nicaragua, Mozambique, Angola, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Indonesia, East Timor, Western Sahara, South Yemen, and elsewhere? Is it because our leaders want to save democracy? Are they concerned about the well-being of these defenseless peoples? Is our national security threatened? I shall try to show that the arguments given to justify U.S. policies are false ones. But this does not mean the policies themselves are senseless. American intervention may seem "wrongheaded" but, in fact, it is fairly consistent and horribly successful.

The history of the United States has been one of territorial and economic expansionism, with the benefits going mostly to the U.S. business class in the form of growing investments and markets, access to rich natural resources and cheap labor, and the accumulation of enormous profits. The American people have had to pay the costs of empire, supporting a huge military establishment with their taxes, while suffering the loss of jobs, the neglect of domestic services, and the loss of tens of thousands of American lives in overseas military ventures.

India launches first commercial space shuttle India's space agency placed an Italian satellite in orbit Monday, bolstering the South Asian nation's efforts to win a slice of the billion-dollar global launch market. The India-made Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) put the Agile astronomical satellite into its intended orbit about 550 kilometres (325 miles) above the earth 20 minutes after blast-off. It was India's first commercial space mission and the rocket's 11th flight. "It's a historic moment for the entire space community: an Italian satellite being placed in precise orbit by a totally Indian-built vehicle," Indian Space Research Organisation chief G. Madhavan Nair said on state-run TV.

"We have proven the reliability of the PSLV, its cost-effectiveness and given on-time delivery," he said. Leaving behind a massive trail of orange and white smoke, the rocket blasted off on schedule at 3:30 pm local time (1000 GMT). "I'm really proud to be here today," Giovanni Bignani, the head of the Italian space agency, said on Indian television. "This marks a new era of cooperation between Italy and India," he added, while praising the professionalism of Indian space scientists. The 352-kilogramme (774-pound) Italian astronomical satellite will be used to gather information about the origins of the universe. India wants to compete with the United States, Russia, China, the Ukraine and the European Space Agency in offering commercial satellite launch services, a market worth up to 2.5 billion dollars a year.

It's the United States that has been under attack, not just Al-Jazeerah.info The orchestrated campaign to silence Al-Jazeerah.info by anti-peace groups should alert the US peace camp. I'll summarize the lessons learned from the previous five-year experience of promoting peace through Al-Jazeerah Peace Information Center, in order for the US peace camp to benefit and in response to readers' questions. First, there's no freedom of speech or freedom of expression for individuals, groups, or institutions if they are not independent financially. I realized this fact early on, and therefore asked for big donations to transform Al-Jazeerah Information Center into a financially independent institution.

Inmates vs. Animals: U.S. Fails the Test of Civilization The U.S. criminal justice system has no parallel in the contemporary world. History, however, reveals the origins of the system's scope, in addition to the national obsession of denying criminal offenders the decency and rights normally afforded to other humans...Unsatisfied with mere prison sentences, the United States especially has decided that offenders should continue to pay for their crimes even after release...Federal law...allows states to deny offenders public housing, or to bar welfare benefits or food stamps from drug felons, sometimes permanently. Drug-related records can invalidate eligibility for student loans or aid.

Trickledown Economics Perpetuates War Trickle down creates and thrives on war. War profits do not trickle down they land on the workers drip by drip, but inflation keeps them at the faucet trying to survive. Those of us who call ourselves "peace people" do what we can issue by issue. We try, but only if we can cut off the serpent’s head will real peace arrive. The serpent is greed and it feeds at the trough of Trickle down Economics.

US harboring 'terrorist' jet bomber: Chavez President Hugo Chavez has accused US President George W. Bush of harboring the convicted bomber of a Cuban airliner. "I accuse the president of the United States of protecting an international terrorist," Chavez said. "They have freed the father of all terrorists: the terrorist Luis Posada Carriles," Chavez said. Posada Carriles, a former CIA agent, was released last week from a Texas jail, though Venezuela and Cuba want him extradited in the 1976 bombing of a Cuban airliner, which crashed, killing all 73 persons aboard. "We have asked for his extradition for more than two years. We sent them the evidence. This gentleman was in prison (for the bombing) here and he escaped," Chavez said. "Mr Bush: You are harboring a terrorist, which makes you a terrorist," he said.

Chavez echoed Bush's similar accusations after the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States by Al-Qaeda, which he said was "harbored" by Afghanistan's government. A fierce opponent of Cuban leader Fidel Castro, Posada Carriles was released from jail in Texas on a 350,000-dollar bond pending the May 11 start of his trial on immigration charges, and immediately flew to his wife's home in Miami. He was convicted in Venezuela in 1976 of masterminding the downing of the Cuban jet off Barbados, but escaped from prison in 1985. He was sentenced to eight years' prison in Panama in a bomb plot to assassinate Castro during an Ibero-American summit in 2000, and outgoing Panamanian president Mireya Moscoso pardoned him four years later. He was detained by US immigration officials in May 2005 for entering the United States illegally.

The Myth Of Jewish Refugees From Arab Land Victimizing the Jews has been the successful old political trick Zionists have been using to gain international political sympathy for the Israeli cause, and to justify all aggression and terror the Israeli army perpetrates on Palestinians and on the neighboring Arab countries. Whenever the international views turn against Israel, due to its aggression, a new Jewish victimizing story pops up.

Abolish the Racist 'Jewish National Fund'   What would we say if an American institution, holding a seventh of all the land in the United States, adopted statutes that allowed it to sell or rent land only to White Anglo-Saxon Protestants?...We would not believe it. And it is, indeed, impossible...But that's the way things are in Israel...In this situation, 20 [per cent] of the citizens of Israel are denied the right to buy a home in large parts of the country, while this right is enjoyed by Jews living in Brooklyn and Odessa.

Emigration from Israel exceeds immigration In Israel, the number of emigrants exceeded the number of immigrants for the first time in 20 years, the Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot reported Friday. Many emigrants were recent arrivals who wanted to leave Israel again, the report said. In 2007, 14,400 immigrants are expected in Israel while 20,000 people are expected to leave the country, according to the report based on figures for the first months of 2007.  The last time emigration exceeded immigration was in the aftermath of the 1973 Yom Kippur War and in 1983 and 1984 when inflation was high. Meanwhile the Maariv newspaper reported that approximately a quarter of the Israeli population was considering emigration. Almost half of the country's young people were thinking of leaving the country, the report said. Their reasons included dissatisfaction with the government, the education system, a lack of confidence in the political ruling class and concern over the security situation. The Mantra That Changed Christians to Caring Friend of the Jews The Second Coming of Jesus is no longer self-propelled. The messianic incident is now conditioned upon Israel being one piece of land controlled by the Jews, and no such things as Israel and Palestine living side by side. Consequently, the military occupation of the West Bank to reunite Judea and Samaria with the State of Israel, does sell like a hot-cake to the Christian Evangelists - most of them now love to be identified as the Christian Zionists. They feel so intensely for the Jews and Israel that the safety and security of Israel have become more of a passion to them than it is to the Jews themselves.

Poison: KGB men to face Litvinenko murder charges Scotland Yard detectives are to issue arrest warrants against three former KGB officers suspected of poisoning ex-Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko. Police have told sources close to Mr Litvinenko's widow Marina that they intend to lay charges of murder and poisoning against the men, who met the victim three weeks before his death in London. The move will damage the already strained relationship between Downing Street and the Kremlin, which is almost certain to block any request for the men's arrest and extradition.

US to offer Russia new incentives on missile defense: report  The United States will offer Russia new incentives in a bid to persuade it to drop its opposition to US plans to build missile defense sites in Poland and the Czech Republic, a US newspaper reported Saturday. Citing unnamed senior administration and military officials, the newspaper said the package would include an invitation to begin linking some Russian and US antimissile systems. The Defense Department and the State Department declined to comment on the report.

According to another newspaper, the package includes US offers to cooperate on developing defense technology and to share intelligence about common threats, as well as to permit Russian officials to inspect the future missile bases.
Administration officials said the initiatives were proposed at least in part at the urging of European allies, and reflected an acknowledgment at the highest levels of President George W. Bush's administration that it had not been agile in dealing with Russia on the missile defense issue, the newspaper said. The initiatives include offers that are "deeper, more specific and concrete" than any previous proposal for cooperation from the administration to the Kremlin, it quotes one senior official as saying. The initiatives will also include an invitation "toward fundamental integration of our systems," a senior military officer involved in the discussions was quoted as saying.

The offers of cooperation will be laid out for Russian officials in the coming weeks in a series of high-level meetings being scheduled by senior US officials, including Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, it said said. If those talks go well, they will continue over the summer and fall between Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the report.

Polls open in French presidential vote Polls opened Sunday in France's hotly contested presidential election that heralds the transfer of power to a new generation of political leaders. Right-wing candidate Nicolas Sarkozy and socialist Segolene Royal were favourites to reach the all-important second round on May 6, according to the last opinion polls. But the opinion polls also showed millions of voters were undecided so both centrist candidate Francois Bayrou and far-right veteran Jean-Marie Le Pen were in with a chance of going through to the all-important second round on May 6.

Memories are vivid of the last presidential election in 2002, when Le Pen shocked France and the world by qualifying for round two. Some 44.5 million registered voters -- an increase of 3.4 million on 2002 -- are choosing a successor to Jacques Chirac, 74, who steps down next month after leading the country for 12 years.

Iran rules out nuclear suspension ahead of EU talks Iran on Sunday rejected Western calls for a suspension of its sensitive nuclear activities just days ahead of crucial talks on its atomic drive with EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana. "Halting uranium enrichment is definitely deleted from the literature of Iran's nuclear activities," foreign ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini told reporters. "In our negotiations the halting of this activity has not been on the table and going back on time is not envisaged," he added. The European Union and United States want Iran to freeze enrichment as the process can be used both to make nuclear fuel and atomic weapons. Iran insists its nuclear programme is solely aimed at generating energy. The comments come ahead of eagerly awaited talks on Wednesday at a location that has yet to be confirmed between Solana and Iran's top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani, in a bid to break the deadlock in the nuclear standoff.

India, China Discuss Decades-Old Border Row The world's two most populous countries, India and China, began another round of talks to resolve their decades-old border dispute. India says China occupies 38,000 square kilometres of its territory in Kashmir, while Beijing claims 90,000 square kilometres of the remote Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. This is the 10th round of talks between the two sides since India and China appointed special representatives in 2003 to speed up a resolution to the boundary dispute, a legacy of their brief but bitter 1962 conflict.

World Needs To Axe Greenhouse Gases By 80 Pct  The EU reckons that there would be dangerous disruptions to the climate such as ever more droughts, heatwaves, floods and rising seas beyond a 2 C ceiling. Temperatures already rose by about 0.7 Celsius in the 20th century. An 80 percent global cut would mean rich nations, responsible for most heat-trapping emissions from fossil fuels burnt by power plants, factories and cars, would have to axe emissions by about 95 percent below 2000 levels by 2050.

Factory Jobs: 3 Million Lost Since 2000 in America welcome to corporate globalization why should the corporations pay an American factory worker $10 an hour, well they can pay some one in a third world .50 cent an hour Three weeks ago, Dawn Zimmer became a statistic. Laid off from her job assembling trucks at Freightliner's plant in Portland, Ore., she and 800 of her colleagues joined a long line of U.S. manufacturing workers who have lost jobs in recent years. A total of 3.2 million—one in six factory jobs—have disappeared since the start of 2000.
Many people believe those jobs will never come back.

"They are building a multimillion-dollar plant in Mexico and they are going to build the Freightliners down there. They came in and videotaped us at work so they could train the Mexican workers," said Zimmer, 55, who had worked at Freightliner since 1994.

Lal Masjid clerics vow to enforce Sharia in Pakistan Lal Masjid clerics on Friday vowed to enforce ‘Shariat’ (Islamic system) in the country even if the government does not want to do so. The in-charge of the mosque, Maulana Abdul Aziz said in his Friday sermon that Shariat will be enforced at any cost for which the whole nation should support the mosque's management. "We don't need the government's help for the enforcement of an Islamic system because we are capable enough to do it without its assistance," he added. He said the process of dialogue between the government and the mosque’s management will remain suspended unless all the seven demolished mosques in Islamabad were rebuilt by the government. Recently, the government had provided alternate plots for reconstruction of three mosques. However, Pakistan Muslim League President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, who was negotiating with the cleric of Lal Masjid on behalf of the government last week, said in a press statement on Friday that most of the matters about reconstruction of demolished mosques had been settled. The local administration of Islamabad has reportedly demolished seven mosques in different places in the recent past, resulting in confrontation between the management of Lal Masjid and the government. In protest against the demolition of mosques, girl students of Madressah Hafsa, a seminary being run by the mosque management, had occupied the government's children library located next to the Madressah on January 21. After this, the mosque's management extended its movement in the capital by raiding a brothel, kidnapping three women and two security officials, threatening video and CD shop owners who were selling thinks which are against the Islamic teaching for closing down their businesses, and announcing enforcement of Shariat. Chaudhry Shujaat said no one could even think about refusal enforcement of Quran and Sunnah. "We will take more measures for the improvement of the system in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah under legal demands," he said.

Basra Splits Between Warring Shia kafirs A group led by anti-occupation Shia cleric Muqtada al-Sadr, who recently ordered his politicians to quit the Iraqi government in a defiance of the U.S.-led occupation, has said his group will no more accept Basra Governor Mohammad al-Wai'ili because he is a member of the Shia al-Fadhila Party.

Al-Fadhila withdrew from the ruling Shia political coalition in March. Al-Fadhila leaders said they refused to participate in sectarian politics. The party has declared it will continue as an independent bloc. Despite the fact that both groups have ordered withdrawal of their representatives from the Iraqi government, they remain at odds. The Sadr group is vying for greater control of cities in southern Iraq, and is suspected of ties to the Iranian government. Al-Fadhila opposes this policy. The governor also rejects Iran-backed meddling within Iraq's Shia political groups.

Heraclius invitation to Islam  Abu Sufyan bin Harb informed me that Heraclius had sent a messenger to him while he had been accompanying a caravan from Quraish. They were merchants doing business in Sham (Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan), at the time when Allah's Apostle had truce with Abu Sufyan and Quraish infidels. So Abu Sufyan and his companions went to Heraclius at Ilya (Jerusalem). Heraclius called them in the court and he had all the senior Roman dignitaries around him. AIPAC and Espionage: Guilty as Hell, Pentagon analyst plea bargains, threatens to expose Israel's Washington cabal

Is it possible to beat AIPAC in Congress? In the "insider" game, insider forces, like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, have the most leverage. Contrary to the beliefs of many, it is possible to beat AIPAC in Congress, as was demonstrated when Americans for Peace Now, the Israel Policy Forum, Brit Tzedek v'Shalom, and others beat AIPAC on the "Palestinian Anti-Terrorism Act." But this requires extending the debate beyond the usual suspects. If a significant bloc of Congressional Democrats were to say, we will go along with the leadership on this, but in exchange we want something that really restricts the ability of the administration to unilaterally pursue a policy of military confrontation with Iran, and forces the administration to pursue a policy of serious diplomacy, that would put the issue on the table for wider debate, even if the demand were not immediately successful.

Is The CIA Trying to Kill Hugo Chávez? "I want to kill that son of a bitch," said the Capitan of the Venezuelan National Guard, Thomas Guillen in a recorded telephone call with his wife. In the call, played on Venezuela's state TV channel last month, the Capitan reveals his and his father's plans to kill President Hugo Chávez. The next day, the Capitan and his father, retired General Ramon Guillén Dávila, were arrested and taken into custody for conspiring to kill the President of Venezuela. [1]

In recent weeks, Hugo Chávez has increasingly warned that the United States has plans to kill him and is stepping up its activity against him and his government. Chávez has also claimed that the CIA is working with associates of the famous Cuban terrorist and CIA agent Posada Carriles, designing plans for his assassination. But could there be any truth to all of this? Could this be a classic CIA-conspiracy to kill another official "enemy" of the United States?

Russia Rejects US Cooperation Offer Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister has rejected a proposal from the United States to cooperate on building a missile shield in Europe. Sergei Ivanov has said that no basis exists for discussion on possible cooperation over the issue. Washington has tried to ease Russia's fears about its planned missile shield by offering to share the system's threat warnings. Ivanov, however, held firm to Russia's criticism of the shield saying: "We cannot understand what Eastern Europe needs this system for." Washington announced plans in January to extend its anti-missile shield into Europe by installing interceptors in Poland and a radar system in the Czech Republic. Ivanov said: Ivanov and US Defense Secretary Robert Gates may discuss the missile shield during a Moscow meeting next week.

Our dead, their dead “Imagine if we gave these victims that honor, that attention. Imagine if everyday newspapers carried an account of each child who starves to death because cities take the resources on which the child’s traditional community has forever depended . . . Imagine, too, if our discourse included accounts of those nonhumans whose lives this culture makes unspeakably miserable . . . Imagine, finally, if we considered their lives as valuable as our own, and their contribution to the world and to our neighborhoods to be as valuable as that of a stockbroker -- or even more so -- even if the stockbroker does drive a Porsche, flip us the bird, and take off like the wind.”
