The development in Pakistan tribal belt Since last week clashs have taking place in Pakistan tribal areas, the Pakistan government controled Pakistani media is reporting that the fighting is between the locals and foreign Mujahideen from Uzbekistan and some Arab Mujahideen, this is not the case.
The truth is, its not the locals that are fighting the Mujahideen, its the Pakistan army commandos covet operations as locals and Pakistan Army agents, the recent pressure form US and NATO to stop the crossing boarding of Mujahideen from Pakistan into Afghanistan. The US as made it very clear to Pakistan that if they do not do some about crossing boarding of Mujahideen then the US will take the matter in their own hands.
US puppet Pakistan President Gen Pervez Musharraf needs to show the his masters that their are actions being taking by his government, he can not just bring the Army and attack the locals cause the 99% of the Mujahideen are Pakistani, but the Pakistan government is using covert operations in destabilizing the Mujahideen is Pakistan tribal belt, also by reporting that its foreign Mujahideen which are being attack it makes it easy for the Pakistan people to except.
Militants blow up video shops in North West Frontier Province’s Kohat city Mujahideen blew up two video shops and torched a cable television operator's office in Kohat city of North West Frontier Province, sources Friday. There were no casualties in the blasts which happened late Thursday. The attackers forced people out of the office of the cable operator and sprinkled kerosene over it before setting it on fire, officials said. Later they detonated crudely-made bombs at the video shops, which were empty at the time. Both shops were badly damaged. Residents said the attacks followed threats to the owners to shut down their business because they were un-Islamic.

UK Trooper Apologizes for Trespassing Iranian Territorial Waters
Another detained British military sailor N.
Thomas Summers on Friday admitted that the 15 British sailors had violated
Iran's territorial waters on March 23 and extended his apology to the Iranian
nation for the issue. Speaking to reporters, the British sailor said, "We
illegally entered Iran's territorial waters and were arrested by the Iranian
border guards and I would like to apologize to the Iranian people for the
issue." He said the Iranian forces captured the sailors and marines in a
friendly manner and treated them well.
Hijacked Plane Lands at Khartoum Airport A plane hijacked while flying from Libya to Sudan has landed at Khartoum airport where authorities are negotiating with the hijacker. A Sudan Airways official at the airport said Friday that the plane was taken over by a single hijacker, but he did not know the hijacker's nationality, motivations or what he was armed with. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the plane was a Libyan aircraft. He did not know how many people were on board.
Japan Deploys Ballistic Missiles
Japan on Friday deployed its first
ballistic missile defence system managed by its own military. America last year
installed Japan's first anti-missile system, but the interceptors deployed
Friday were the first installed by Japan on its own. A Defence Ministry
spokesman said: Two patriot advanced capability-3 (PAC-3) surface-to-air
interceptors were installed early Friday at Japan's Iruma air force base north
of Tokyo. The Ministry plans to deploy the American-developed PAC-3s, which can
cover a 20-kilometre radius, at a total of 11 bases in eastern and western Japan
by March 2011.
India Test Fires
Its Nuclear-capable Dhanush Missile
India successfully test-fired a nuclear-capable
surface-to-surface missile from a defence base off the coast of the eastern
Indian state Orissa on Friday, news reports said. The 8.56-metre-long Dhanush
(which means bow) was launched from the ship, INS Subhadra, about 40 nautical
miles from the Chandipur- on-sea integrated test range, about 200 kilometres
from state capital Bhibhaneswar.
The test exercise was carried out by scientists from the Defence
Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and tracked, from take- off to
impact through an integrated network of sophisticated radars and electro-optic
instruments for data analysis.
The Dhanush, which has a strike range of 250 to 350 kilometres, is a naval
variant of India's surface-to-surface Prithvi or "earth" II missile, uses a
single stage liquid propellant engine, and is capable of carrying a warhead of
up to 750 kilograms, a news agency reported, citing defence officials. Being
exclusively developed for the Indian Navy, Dhanush has been previously
test-fired in 2001, 2004 and 2005. On three occasions earlier this week India
test-fired Astra, a locally-built air-to-air missile, capable of carrying a
conventional warhead of about 15 kilograms. The tests on Astra came just days
after Pakistan test-fired a modified Hatf-VII Babur cruise missile capable of
carrying a nuclear payload and having a strike range of 700 kilometres.

According to the sources of this site, the aggressors destroyed house in the
settlement of Tsa -Vedeno, in Vedenskiy district of CRI, and brutally killed
mother and 3 her children. The reason for this atrocity was the denunciation,
according to which Russian invaders suspected, that in the house of this woman
are concealed the Mujahideen. As notes the publication "accomplishing similar
crimes, Russian occupiers try to suggest fear to local residents and to force
them to forego the support to Mujahideen". Source kavkaz

Jewish propaganda Film "Radical Islam" Tied to Pro-Israel Groups
When "Obsession" was released
last year, news pundits and anchors on FOX and CNN praised the independent film
for its candid look at Islamic militancy. FOX incorporated footage from the film
into a one-hour special, which aired seven times in November 2006. CNN's
right-wing pundit Glen Beck called it "one of the most important films of our
time". Sean Hannity of FOX News described it as "shocking beyond belief".
While such enthusiasm from right-wing talk show personalities comes as no
surprise, mainstream cable news programmes also appeared to accept, without
question, the premise of the film, which explicitly compares the threat posed by
radical Islam to that of Nazi Germany in the 1930s.
Israel ‘Marriage to an Arab is national treason’ Recent poll reveals steep rise in racist views against Arabs in Israel; many participants feel hatred, fear when overhearing Arabic, 75 percent don’t approve of shared apartment buildings Over half of the Jewish population in Israel believes the marriage of a Jewish woman to an Arab man is equal to national treason, according to a recent survey by the Geocartography Institute. The survey, which was conducted for the Center Against Racism, also found that over 75 percent of participants did not approve of apartment buildings being shared between Arabs and Jews. Sixty percent of participants said they would not allow an Arab to visit their home.
British
Historian Denies gassings by the Nazis during World War II of the Jews
British historian David Irving, who was jailed in Austria for questioning the
Holocaust, visited the Auschwitz death camp and renewed his claim that there was
no proof it had gas chambers during an Italian TV program aired Friday.
In the Sky TG24 documentary program "Controcorrente" (Countercurrent), Irving is
filmed walking down the remains of railroad tracks in the former death camp in
southern Poland as he insists that engineering techniques back his claims that
mass gassings by the Nazis during World War II didn't occur there.
Israel rejects Arab peace plan Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Shimon Peres said on Thursday that Israel refused to accept the revived Arab peace initiative as it currently stands and said negotiations were needed. "There is only one way to overcome our differences, and that is negotiation," Peres told Israeli public radio. "It's impossible to say: you must take what we offer you as is." The blueprint, which was endorsed at an Arab summit on Wednesday, offers Israel full normalisation of relations if it withdraws from all land occupied in the 1967 war and allows the creation of a Palestinian state and the return of Palestinian refugees.
Every country has right to use nuke technology: Riyadh Declaration Arab leaders on Thursday wrapped up a summit where they relaunched a five-year-old blueprint for peace in the Middle East, although Israel has rejected the plan as it stands. The 22-member Arab League gathering was declared over after Secretary General Amr Mussa read out a "Riyadh Declaration" reaffirming leaders' commitment to the Arab initiative first endorsed at a 2002 summit. The declaration says that it is the right of every country to attain nuclear technology. The proposal offers Israel peace and normal ties if it withdraws from all land seized in the 1967 war, allows the creation of a Palestinian state and the return of Palestinian refugees. The leaders reaffirmed the "commitment of all Arab states to the Arab peace initiative as approved at the Beirut summit in 2002 in all its elements." They also reaffirmed "their call to the government of Israel and all Israelis to accept the Arab peace initiative and seize the opportunity to resume the process of direct and serious negotiations on all tracks."
America leading ally in fighting Islam and a role model of democracy Pakistan, Media watchdog slams curbs on Pakistan media A Paris-based watchdog on Thursday blasted Pakistani government claims the country was a model for media freedom and criticized pressure placed on a leading newspaper. Reporters Without Borders (RSF) took odds with Information Minister Mohammad Ali Durrani's claims this week that due to “bold initiatives,”Pakistan was a “model of free media in the entire South Asian region.” ”How can you claim this when recent weeks have been marked by grave acts of censorship and violence against independent media?” RSF secretary-general Robert Menard said in an open letter to Durrani. Menard cited protests against the removal of the Supreme Court’s chief justice, during which police ransacked the office of the private Geo television this month. “The president and you did indeed express regret about the police violence, but what measures have you taken to ensure that privately-owned television stations will finally be able to work freely?” he asked. Menard also criticized drastic cuts in government advertising with the Dawn group of newspapers since December. “The group is being subjected to shocking commercial and legal harassment,” he said. “The group's refusal to change its editorial policies led the government to impose its sanctions in order to undermine its financial situation,” Menard wrote. “If you would really like Pakistan to become a model, the first thing you should do is put a stop to the harassment of the Dawn group,” he added. Menard also criticized the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), which he said recently forced two TV stations to censor themselves.

Indian plans naval war games with China, Japan, Russia, US India is sending its largest warships for joint maneuvers with China, Japan, Russia and the US where it will showcase its growing naval strength, officials said Thursday. Three Indian destroyers, a missile corvette, tankers and other combat ships will kick off the two-month series with five days of exercises with US warships beginning April 6 off the Japanese island of Okinawa, they said.
India tests Astra missile again India on Thursday conducted another test of its home grown air-to-air missile Astra, considered a new system in the guided missile development programme, from a military base in Orissa. Astra, meaning weapon in Hindi, was fired from complex-II of the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur in the coastal district of Balasore, 15 km from Balasore and 230 km from Bhubaneswar, at 11.33 am, military sources said. The missile has a striking range of 25-40 km and its launch speed is estimated to be 0.6 to 2.2 mach. It was earlier tested from the same range March 25 and 26. Developed by the Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO), the missile has a length of 3,570 mm and a diameter of 178 mm. It is likely to be ready by 2011-12.
Blair's office condemns decision to show captured British crew on Iranian TV Prime Minister Tony Blair's office on Thursday condemned the decision to show captured British sailors and marines on Iranian television. "Nobody should be put in that position. It is an impossible position to be put in,'' said Blair's spokesman, who spoke onc ondition of anonymity in keeping with government policy. "It iswrong. It is wrong in terms of the usual conventions that cover this. It is wrong in terms of basic humanity.'' Iran captured 15 British sailors and marines last week in the Shatt al Arab waterway between Iraq and Iran. Britain insists the crew were in Iraqi waters when they were captured; Tehran claims they had entered Iranian waters. In video footage aired Wednesday, the only woman captive said hergroup had "trespassed'' in Iranian waters; other images showed the group eating together. Britain angrily denounced the video as unacceptable and froze most of its dealings with Iran.
Iran demands British apology over sailors Iran on Thursday demanded an apology from Britain over what it said was the "illegal entry" of British sailors into its waters. "The logical solution to resolving this affair is for the British authorities to accept the realty, present their apologies to the great Iranian people," General Alireza Afshar, spokesman for the head of the country's armed forces, was quoted as saying by a local news agency.
Britain denies siege of Iranian mission in Basra Britain rejected the charges put up by Iran's consul in the Iraqi city of Basra that British forces surrounded the consulate on Thursday and firing into the air in a provocative act at a time of heightened tensions between the two countries. The British military denied any aggressive action and said the shots heard came from a British convoy that was ambushed in the same street as the consulate in central Basra. Iranian consul Mohammed Ridha Nasir Bagban said: "They came at 10 a.m. and surrounded the consulate. After 20 minutes they started shooting in different direction. They are trying to irritate us because of the issue of the capture of the British soldiers, but this behaviour will make the issue worse." The Ministry of Defense in London said the shooting was an exchange of gunfire after British troops on a foot patrol near the Iranian consulate were ambushed. But Iranian Consul-General Mohammed Ridha Nasir Baghban said British forces had engaged in a "provocative act" that "could worsen the situation of the British sailors." "British forces should rely on wisdom and not react because of the British forces' detention. This reflects negatively.
US Senate ties
Iraq funds to pullout timetable
The US Senate on Thursday approved
a bill tying funding for the war in Iraq to a timetable for withdrawing US
troops, setting the stage for a confrontation with President George W. Bush. The
measure seeking to force a dramatic change in US Iraq policy, was approved by a
vote along party lines of 51 to 47. The bill sets mandatory start to a troop
pullout within 120 days of its final passage, and a guideline of March 21, 2008
for the completion of the withdrawal of most US combat forces.
Its passage sets up a showdown with the US president, who again on Thursday
adamantly rejected any time restrictions on the presence of US troops. "I'll
veto a bill that restricts our commanders on the ground in Iraq, a bill that
doesn't fund our troops, a bill that's got too much spending on it," Bush said
after meeting with Republican congressional allies. "When we've got a troop in
harm's way, we expect that troop to be fully funded. When we've got commanders
making tough decisions on the ground, we expect there to be no strings on our
commanders," the president said. Senate approval of the bill now puts both
chambers of Congress formally on record as calling on the president to wrap up
the war in Iraq during the course of the next year.
Ukraine
president threatens to dissolve parliament
Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko threatened
on Thursday to dissolve parliament and hold early elections after months of
tensions between pro-Western and pro-Russian political forces. Either "we cool
hot heads" or "we take a political decision and organise early elections,"
Yushchenko said at a press conference in the city of Lugansk in eastern Ukraine
that was broadcast live on television. Yushchenko, a pro-Western politician,
accused the pro-Russian coalition in parliament, established after parliamentary
elections last year, of attempting to "usurp power" by trying to persuade
pro-Western lawmakers to switch sides. The crisis has paralysed political
activity in this former Soviet republic. Yushchenko, who served as chairman of
Ukraine's central bank before becoming an opposition leader, was brought to
power in a series of protests in 2004 against the government's pro-Russian
candidate, Viktor Yanukovych. Yanukovych became prime minister last year after
his party won the most votes in elections and the pro-Western parties that
backed the 2004 "orange revolution" failed to come to an agreement.
Iraq diggers 'contaminated with radiation' 2 Australian soldiers who served in the first Iraq war have tested positive to depleted uranium (DU) contamination despite assurances from the Federal Government they had not been exposed, an anti-nuclear group said today.
AMERICA'S CONTINUED CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY / RADIOACTIVE GENOCIDE Currently, more than 50 percent of Iraqi cancer patients are children under the age of 5, up from 13 percent. Children are especially vulnerable because they tend to play in areas that are heavily polluted by depleted uranium. America's greatest crime against humanity is radioactive genocide, and prepare to be shocked when you see the pictures of these maimed and disfigured Iraqi children ~ who are the innocent victims of our illegal war, occupation and economic rape of Iraq...

Coastal Mega-Cities In For A Bumpy Ride About 643 million people, or one-tenth of the world’s population, who live in low lying coastal areas are at great risk of oceans-related impacts of climate change, according to a global research study to be released next month. The 10 countries with the largest number of people living in this vulnerable, low-elevation zone, include in descending order: China, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, Egypt, the United States, Thailand and the Philippines. Cities such as Dhaka, Shanghai and Mumbai are some of the most susceptible to coastal, climate-related hazards such as floods, storms and cyclones. And the rapid urbanization occurring in these cities — especially in China, which has growing special economic zones along its coasts — will continue to attract more and more people.
Retreating Himalayan Icefields Threatening Drought In Bangladesh
Notorious for its annual floods,
Bangladesh may seem the last place in the world to worry about a drying up of
the rivers that flow from the Himalayas. But the country is as much at risk from
drought as it is from flooding. Already farmers who used to grow rice have
turned to farming prawns because the water in their fields has turned so salty
nothing will grow there.
Bangladesh is the front line of global warming, with rivers drying up, and
increasingly common freak weather conditions that include out-of-season
tornadoes and tides that have stopped changing. The entire country is one huge
delta, formed by the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna rivers. Flooding may seem to
be Bangladesh's greatest enemy, but in fact the rivers are its lifeline. They
are the main source of fresh water for a country where agriculture represents 21
per cent of the economy. And environmentalists fear that if the Himalayan
glaciers melt, the rivers' flow will reduce drastically.

15 British
Christian kafir terrorists military
sailors and marines The 15 British sailors and marines who were
patrolling the Shatt-al-Arab - or Arvand Roud, as it is known in Iran - were not
exactly indulging in a little bit of Rod Stewart ("I am sailing/stormy waters/to
be with you/to be free"). They had their guns loaded. These would certainly have
been fired against Iraqi smugglers - or, better yet, the Iraqi resistance, Sunni
or Shi'ite. But suddenly the British were confronted not by Iraqi but by Iranian
gunboats. This correspondent has been to the Shatt-al-Arab. It's a busy and
tricky waterway, to say the least. Iraqi fishing boats share the waters with
Iranian patrol boats. From the Iraqi shore one can see the Iranian shore, flags
aflutter. These remain extremely disputed waters. In 1975, a treaty was signed
in Algiers between the shah of Iran and Saddam Hussein. The center of the river
was supposed to be the border. Then Saddam invaded Iran in 1980. After the
Iran-Iraq War that this sparked ended in 1988, and even after both Gulf wars,
things remain perilously inconclusive: a new treaty still has not been signed.
The British are adamant that the sailors were in Iraqi waters checking for cars,
not weapons, being smuggled. It's almost laughable that the Royal Navy should be
reduced to finding dangerous Toyotas in the Persian Gulf. Some reports from
Tehran claim the British were actually checking Iranian military preparations
ahead of a possible confrontation with the US.
Western corporate media overwhelmingly take for granted that the British were in
Iraqi or "international" waters (wrong: these are disputed Iran/Iraq waters).
Tehran has accused the British of "blatant aggression" and reminded world public
opinion "this is not the first time that Britain commits such illegal acts"
(which is true). Tehran diplomats later suggested that the British might be
charged with espionage (which is actually the case in Khuzestan province in
Iran, conducted by US Special Forces). Source Pepe Escobar

Britain suspends contacts with Iran as navy crisis grows Britain on Wednesday froze all contacts with Iran as a dispute over 15 detained sailors intensified with Prime Minister Tony Blair vowing to step up pressure on the Islamic Republic. Britain produced evidence which it said proved that the sailors and marines were in Iraqi waters when detained last Friday in the Gulf. Iran insisted the Britons were in its territory. A few minutes earlier, Blair emphasized British determination in the dispute. "It is now time to ratchet up the diplomatic and international pressure" on Tehran, Blair told parliament, adding that "there was no justification whatever" for the detention of the Britons.
British Forces Violation of Iran’s
Territory as ‘Provocative’ Iran’s Ambassador to Germany,
Mohammad Mehdi Akhoundzadeh, termed the violation of Iran’s territory by the
British forces as provocative. During an interview with IRNA, following his
meeting with the German Foreign Ministry officials, Tuesday, Akhoundzadeh said
he has told the German authorities that the related Iranian officials are
currently investigating the violation of Iran’s territory by the British sailors
and will announce the outcome of their investigations. He said the detention of
the British sailors by Iran’s border guards is a purely bilateral issue between
Tehran and London and British troops have been conducting provocative acts in
the past also. Iran’s border guards arrested 15 British sailors last Friday due
to violation of Iran’s territorial waters.
Iran says captured British servicewoman to be released: report A woman sailor captured along with 14 other British servicemen will be released "today or tomorrow," a local news channel quoted Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki as saying Wednesday. "The detained British woman soldier will be freed today or tomorrow," Mottaki was quoted as saying by the channel.
Russian military intelligence services are reporting a flurry of activity by
U.S. Armed Forces near Iran's borders, a high-ranking security source said
Tuesday "The latest military intelligence data point to
heightened U.S. military preparations for both an air and ground operation
against Iran," the official said, adding that the Pentagon has probably not yet
made a final decision as to when an attack will be launched. He said the
Pentagon is looking for a way to deliver a strike against Iran "that would
enable the Americans to bring the country to its knees at minimal cost." He also
said the U.S. Naval presence in the Persian Gulf has for the first time in the
past four years reached the level that existed shortly before the invasion of
Iraq in March 2003.
Col.-Gen. Leonid Ivashov, vice president of the Academy of Geopolitical
Sciences, said last week that the Pentagon is planning to deliver a massive air
strike on Iran's military infrastructure in the near future. A new U.S. carrier
battle group has been dispatched to the Gulf. The USS John C. Stennis, with a
crew of 3,200 and around 80 fixed-wing aircraft, including F/A-18 Hornet and
Superhornet fighter-bombers, eight support ships and four nuclear submarines are
heading for the Gulf, where a similar group led by the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower
has been deployed since December 2006. The U.S. is also sending Patriot
anti-missile systems to the region.
Letter of the Mujahid Izzat Al Duri to the Arab Summit in Ryad
I say and I remind that the infidel - al
kafir-, the bloodthirsty, the tyrant, the despotic, the usurper occupier is
still occupying your country, the country of Arabity and Islam and since the
ninth of April 2003 he is still destroying, mass murdering and displacing
millions of the sons and daughters of Iraq! Hundreds of thousands of martyrs and
hundreds of thousands of detainees and missing.. More than four million refugees
and displaced Iraqis.. The Occupier has assassinated every signs of moral and
material life.. It has divided Iraq as a land, as a history and as a historical
and united fabric and edifice for thousands of years.
The US Occupier has strongly helped pagan Persian Iran and gave it the
opportunity to kill the people values, deform its doctrine and change its social
edifice and its inhabitants structures making today's occupied Iraq with its
Safawides collaborators nothing else but a Persian district where Iran roams and
does whatever it wants and it desires.
Iraq today is being used as a basis for the US imperialism, the Zionism and
pagan Persian Safawides to export Khomeyni Safawide revolution to all our nation
countries to deform their identity, to steal their faith and to plunder their
future.
"One Picture Sits Over Differing Surveys" The
Sunday Times of London published the results of a survey Mar. 18 carried out by
the British firm Opinion Research Business that claimed that most Iraqis prefer
life under the new government to life under Saddam Hussein. Another published
the same day, sponsored by USA Today newspaper, the ABC news channel in the
United States, BBC and the German television network ARD, found that six in ten
Iraqis thought their lives were going badly, and only a third expected anything
would get better in a year's time.
But Iraqis were not looking at the surveys - they do not need to. Life around
them tells its own story.
"Our government and its American friends don't know much about us," 35-year-old
teacher Razzaq Ahmed from Ramadi told IPS. "All they care about is their war
against al-Qaeda." And residents say the government seems to care little about
the rights of Iraqi people, their right to life itself. One event after another
drives home that message to people.
Arab leadership responsible for
disunity among Muslim countries and Iraq "illegitimate foreign occupation": King
Abdullah Saudi King Abdullah, whose country is a close US ally,
on Wednesday slammed the "illegitimate foreign occupation" of Iraq in an opening
speech to the annual Arab summit in Riyadh. He said that the foreign forces may
not be allowed to decide the future of Middle East, adding that Arab leadership
is responsible for the disunity among the Arab world and Arab leaders are
condemnable, as they could not get over their mutual differences. "In beloved
Iraq, blood is being shed among brothers in the shadow of an illegitimate
foreign occupation, and ugly sectarianism threatens civil war," Abdullah said.
Saudi king 'wrong' to say US
occupies Iraq: White House Saudi King Abdullah, a key US ally
among Arab states, was wrong to call US military presence in Iraq an
"illegitimate foreign occupation," the White House said Wednesday. "The United
States is in Iraq at the request of the Iraqis and under a United Nations
mandate. Any suggestion to the contrary is wrong," said National Security
Council spokesman Gordon Johndroe.
Which Iraqis requested America to come and mass
murder millions of their brothers and sisters, displacing millions, destroyed
their living hood, sow the seed of division, take control of Iraqi oil....we ask
National Security Council spokesman Gordon Johndroe to identify these Iraqis to
the world.
Global Research:
US Used Depleted Uranium in Iraq
The Canadian journal, Global
Research, says the US has used over 390 tons of depleted uranium in Iraq, which
has a vastly destructive effect on the region. The Global Research wrote,
according to NASA figures the depleted uranium the US has used in Iraq would
have poisonous effects on the region that would last up to four billion years
and further endanger the environment. Environmentalists have repeatedly warned
of the dangers of depleted uranium and the violation of the nuclear
Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). The US currently has a stockpile of over one
million pounds of depleted uranium using most of it to build weapons.

America's Forgotten City In New Orleans, people live without electricity, plumbing, and any kind of economic stability; Black, White and Hispanic people, all multi generationally indigenous to New Orleans. Virtually all businesses, corporate and mom and pops stores alike, remain vacant ruins. Throughout America, people suffer serious ailments from the lack of job availability, but this gave unemployment a new meaning. Many good people, law abiding by nature, have turned to the only market available; drugs, to either psychologically escape their despair or to earn even the littlest of funds to secure food for themselves and their loved ones.
Bush's Budget Projects $333 Billion Tax Increase On page 301, the Joint Committee projects that the President's proposed standard deduction for health insurance, coupled with repeal of the exclusion for employer-paid health insurance, self-employed health insurance deduction, and itemized medical deductions, would result in a $333 billion tax increase over 10 years.
US homes built onparadox, hypocrisy ... The demographic phenomenon of "exurbia" that helps drive Republican victories in the US has a rotten foundation (not to mention a mortgage crisis). The new McHouses were built almost entirely by illegal labor from Mexico, which benefited corporate America but created a new political culture bent on demonizing the very "slaves" who built them.
Broken promises and barefaced lies, the Democrats strike again We have observed the same song and dance so many times before it’s hard to believe more didn’t see it coming. The Democrats once again let down their constituents and all the other voters who ushered them in to power last November -- believing, in utter stupidity, that they would somehow halt the madness of the Iraq war by challenging the Bush administration and their Republican allies in Congress.
Rover is not on the menu, Wilbur is, and Mahmoud just starved to death - "Another bacon burger, anyone?" Let’s face it. We are obsessed with American Capitalism, a system so rotten that it actually encourages, enables, legalizes, and richly rewards pathological degrees of narcissism, greed, competitiveness, and ruthlessness. While millions suffer and die because of us, we cocoon ourselves in impenetrable bubbles of denial and continue feeding our pathetic addictions to fast food, gas guzzling automobiles, American Idol, military domination, video games, the NFL, “righteous” Christianity, and the acquisition of material possessions. Yet we actually expect human beings who are not mentally incapacitated to believe that the United States is a beacon of hope for humanity on a noble quest to spread “freedom and democracy”? How could one maintain a straight face while asserting that a Constitutional Republic (alleged to be premised on Enlightened principles) could co-exist with such a deeply depraved socioeconomic system? While many of us mollify ourselves with the belief that the malevolence of the Bush administration is merely an anomaly in American government, the reality is that the current administration has simply become emboldened enough to dispose of the false mask of benevolence worn tightly by its predecessors.
Has a new slave dynasty taken power in South Asia? So why do you suppose the Indian government decided to abandon its own widely awaited project to retrieve Bahadur Shah's remains from Rangoon? The answer is not far to seek. The memory of Bahadur Shah Zafar should haunt our rulers, not just in India alone but also in Pakistan and Bangladesh, if not also Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, like Banquo's ghost had stalked his usurpers. Zafar's tragedy has too many close resemblances with what is happening in Iraq or in Afghanistan, and is being planned for Iran today, to be of comfort to our rulers.
Myths of the Global Market
In fact, not even consumers in the developed world are happier by ever more
market commodities. When scientific studies like Robert Lane=s The Loss of
Happiness in Market Democracies (Yale, 2000) show that population satisfaction
does not increase, but Aneatly reflects the law of diminishing returns@ as
income and commodity consumption rise above a certain level, the message does
not compute to economists or policy makers. The reason for this is that
neoclassical economics is based on the first premise that market growth produces
more happiness the more commodities are bought - so-called Amarginal utilities@
that correspond to prices paid. If this baseline assumption is false, the
paradigm collapses. So the ground is shifted to other claims. The Economist
explains that many Agoods@ can be Aonly enjoyed if others don=t@[have them]. The
falsehood of the first principle is diverted from by a shift to the nasty fact
that some can only enjoy what they get if it is at others= expense. In the end,
all that matters is willingness to pay a market price if one can afford it, the
only measure of human welfare that exists in market and neoclassical doctrine.
Old Idea; New Sales Pitch - The North American Union ID Way back in the pre-bin Laden days of 1998, Ontario wanted to “replace drivers licenses and health cards with a single computerized smart card, capable of storing vast amounts of information about an individual” complete with fingerprints, patient's treatment history, doctor's phone number, other health data, driving record and a “computer chip”. Even before this, Alberta and BC had rejected similar plans.
Breaking the Silence on the Israel Lobby
Russia Blasts US Global Policy Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized US global policy, branding it as blatant use of force and military adventurism. Moscow issued a statement and took a swipe at the US for dragging the entire world into a crisis on Iran's nuclear issue. Observers believe the statement is Russia's signal to Washington that it will pursue its independent policies in the international arena. The statement further cited Iran as a major regional power in the Middle East, which is serving the international peace and security by maintaining stability in Afghanistan and Central Asia. Russia and US have entered into a new round of political boxing and show of power after Washington unveiled its provocative plans some months ago to set up its missile and radar systems in Poland and the Czech Republic.
Putin tells Bush of missile shield worries President Vladimir Putin expressed Russia's concerns about US plans for a missile shield in Europe in a telephone conversation with President George W. Bush on Wednesday, the Kremlin said. "Vladimir Putin set out the reasons for Russian concern about the US plans to create a base for an anti-missile system in Central Europe," a Kremlin statement said.
Prince Hassan - Neocons and Israel Plan “New 100 Years of War” in the Middle East Do a Google News search on “Prince Hassan Bin Tallal” or “Talal” and the results will point to the Daily Star of Lebanon and Today’s Zaman out of Turkey, but not one result over at the New York Times, ABC News, CNN, Fox, et al. Of course, this is hardly surprising, because you’re not supposed to know what Prince Hassan Bin Talal knows, in fact what millions of Arabs know. Here in America, we have more urgent concerns—for instance the “news” that the drug addict Anna Nicole Smith died of an overdose. And what does Bin Talal and millions of Arabs know?

Israel Jewish terrorists Martyred another Palestinian At least one Palestinian has been martyred in the latest spat of Jewish terrorists attacks on northern West Bank. Palestinian news sources said the Israel Jewish terrorists troops raided the Jenin refugee camp in northern West Bank on Wednesday, martyring 21-year-old Fatah member Ayad Gharib Hotoub. The Zionists forces also abducted 37 Hamas members. Meanwhile, Israel Jewish terrorists bulldozed shopping centres in the Barta'eh settlement southwest of Jenin. Earlier on Tuesday two members of Fatah's military wing, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, were martyred in Nablus, also in the West Bank.
Increase In Child Poverty In UK The number of children living in relative poverty in the UK increased for the first time in nearly a decade last year by 200,000. Figures from the Department for Work and Pensions, showed Tuesday that in the year ending March 2006, 3.8 million children were in relative poverty. The number was 2.8 million without taking account of housing costs, up from 2.7 m in the previous year, casting further doubt on the government meeting its target of halving child poverty by 2010.

Overnight, Brent crude had surged as high as 69.00 dollars per barrel -- which was last seen on September 4, 2006. Independent
judiciary is a manifestation of the society: Pakistan Non-functional Chief
Justice Iftikhar
Non-functional Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that an
independent judiciary was a manifestation of the society and the judiciary was
duty-bound to fulfill its responsibilities. Addressing Rawalpindi Bar, Justice
Iftikhar Chaudhry said that the renowned lawyers of the country were assisting
him in the presidential reference and urged upon the lawyers to prove that they
were organized and conscious segment of the society. Non-functional Chief
Justice told that the judiciary owes a responsibility to maintain the check and
balance, as the loss of balance affects the attaining of justice and it was the
duty of the judiciary to perform responsibly. Justice Iftikhar said that the
judiciary should be separate from the executive so that the confidence of the
people could be restored. He said that the Pakistan constitution enshrined the
independence of the judiciary and, therefore, the independence of the judiciary
demanded that none should interfere in its work. Earlier, the non-functional
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on arrival at the Rawalpindi Bench of
the Lahore High Court was given a hilarious welcome by the lawyers, who raised
deafening slogans in his support. Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was
removed from is post by US puppet Pakistan President Gen Pervez Musharraf.
US court says allege 'Mujahideen'
detainees cannot sue Rumsfeld Nine foreigners cannot sue former
defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld for their torture as prisoners of the US "war
on Islam," a US judge found Tuesday. Federal judge Thomas Hogan said Rumsfeld
could not be sued in a US court because the men, held in Iraq and Afghanistan,
had no standing to sue due to a technicality: none has set foot in the United
States nor are they US citizens.
However, Hogan regretted that he could not allow the suit to go forward under
laws that allow persons alleging violations of their rights to sue the
responsible US officials, "no matter how appealing it might be." He called the
case "lamentable," for its "horrifying torture allegations." "Several
controlling cases compel the inescapable conclusion that the plaintiffs in this
case are not entitled to such a cause of action," he said. The nine men claim to
have been wrongly arrested, detained and tortured by the US army. They filed
suit in 2005 against Rumsfeld and three other high-ranking military officials,
for their supposed responsibility in ordering the use of violent interrogation
methods and for not having stopped it.
The four officials asked the judge to throw out the case, arguing the men had
neither standing nor rights under the US constitution. In a December 8, 2006
hearing, Hogan recognized that if he were to allow such lawsuits, nothing could
stop Osama bin Laden from bringing suit in the United States to demand
reparations from President George W. Bush for attempted murder. Bush has
admitted that the United States uses "alternative" interrogation techniques, but
denies using torture, despite prisoner testimony to the contrary. In November,
rights groups filed suit against Rumsfeld in Germany for his role in alleged.
March 27 2007
Must Read European colonialists conspired to destroy Khilafah On Monday 3rd March 1924 (28th Rajab 1342AH), the world woke to the news that Mustafa Kemal in Turkey had officially abolished the Khilafah. That night Abdul-Mejid II, the last Khaleefah of the Muslims, was bundled in to a car with a suitcase of clothes and money and exiled from Turkey, never to return. This is how 1342 years of Islamic rule ended. The following is a historical account of the actions of the colonial powers in first sowing the seeds of disunity amongst Muslims by implanting the idea of nationalism and then finally administering the destruction of the Khilafah state by their treacherous agents.
Mr. Bush, Your Arab League Summit is Convened This is not a summit of leaders but a trough of corrupt cowardly dictators whose self interest is above all considerations of faith, humanity, and service to their people. Oh, how history repeats itself in the Arab world. For over a century the Arabs have failed miserably in their analytical assessment and response to the colonial ambitions of the British, French, Soviets, Americans, and today’s dominant power-- Israel

Pakistan crosses a dangerous boundary
Independent
sources confirmed to Asia Times Online that special security forces of the
Pakistan Army conducted raids in an attempt to arrest Uzbek commander Tahir
Yaldeshiv. There are unconfirmed reports that some Pakistani soldiers died in
clashes with Uzbek militants.
Further, it has emerged that a faction of the Taliban led by Maulvi Nazir allied
with the Pakistani military to take on the foreign militants. This is a
controversial move. Last September, Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire with
pro-Taliban, Pashtun tribal leaders under which it withdrew thousands of troops
from the North Waziristan tribal area and released several hundred Taliban and
al-Qaeda militants from jail.
This agreement is now in jeopardy and, more significant, it pits the "coalition"
of Nazir's Taliban and the Pakistani military against the leaders of the
"Islamic State of Waziristans" . These leaders control the shuras (councils) of
the Mujahideen in the two Waziristans and support the foreign militants.
American Christian kafir terrorists Military launches huge show of force in Persian Gulf The American Christian kafir terrorists Navy on Tuesday began its largest demonstration of force in the Persian Gulf since the2003 invasion of Iraq, led by a pair of aircraft carriers and backed by warplanes flying simulated attack maneuvers off the coast of Iran. The maneuvers bring together two strike groups of American Christian kafir terrorists military warships and more than a hundred American Christian kafir terrorists occupation military warplanes to conduct simulated air warfare in the crowded Gulf shipping lanes. The American Christian kafir terrorists military exercises come just four days after Iran's capture of 15 British Christian kafir terrorists military sailors and marines who had, Iran said, strayed into Iranian waters near the Gulf.
UN Security Or United Rape? As I watched Iran
being hauled in front of the United Nations ‘Security’ Council, a vivid picture
conjured up in my mind – my native country Iran, a vulnerable and defenseless
beauty being prepared for violation by brutal savages. As she struggles to
defend her honor, no one is prepared to come to her aid, save a few. Even her
own children, those raised on her soil hope she will be brutally raped. With
lust-filled eyes, they hope to fulfill their ambitions on her ravaged ruins, her
broken pride.
Who are these beasts, and what has transformed this United body to such a
menace?
The most uninformed among us knows that the United States is dictating the rules
at the ‘Security’ Council. The driving force behind the American policy makers’
actions is Israel represented by AIPAC and other Israeli representatives in the
United States. However, while Zionism gives motivation to the neo-conservatives
in Washington to rape and ravage the Middle-East, Washington stands to benefit
from AIPAC’s/Israel’s commands.

Revisiting Babri These formulations were lapped up by the dominant middle classes, who started responding more and more to Yatras and other VHP initiated campaigns. After playing this 'Muslim card' the immature Congress leadership decided to play the Hindu card by yielding to the pressure of BJP/VHP and company for getting the locks of Babri opened and later permitting Shilaynyas for Ram temple. This pressure of Hindu rightwing was also discernible when Rajiv launched the campaign for 1989 elections on the plank of Ram Rajya. These came in handy to Hindu consolidation, which later got further boost when V.P. Singh, for his own compulsions, decided to implement Mandal. To bypass Mandal BJP resorted to intensify Yatras, identity based politics. Keeping electoral compulsions in mind, BJP's politics revolved around Ram Temple as its central agenda. Incidentally Ram temple was no where on the agenda of BJP, which was harping on Gandhian socialism, till then. Its discovery that Lord Ram can be of great help in garnering votes led it to put most of its eggs in the basket of the campaign and conspiracy to destroy the Babri Mosque.
Daily Telegraph- "War continues in Chechnya" One Western journalist, Adrian Blomfield, could enter in the Chechen village of Tazen-kala. He became a witness that war continues in Chechnya, in spite of Putin's propaganda. This person is not a supporter of Jihad, and he somewhere uses incorrect terminology, such as "rebels" or "wahabi" in appliance to mojaheds and "special forces" or "loyalists" in appliance to the bloody puppets and traitors. But he states without any hesitation: "War is not finished in Chechnya", in this connection his article has value. On this reason we publish it without changes.

used air power in an attack on the Katunayake military air base near Colombo
International Airport on Monday. Three airmen were killed and 16 others injured
after bombs were lobbed from the low-flying aircraft.

China a bit to take over Tibet invest $13 billion in Tibet
The money would be spent on 180 projects in the
years up to 2010, including extending the predominantly Buddhist region's first
railway, Xinhua news agency said. China planned to extend the availability of
drinking water, electricity and telephone lines to herding communities and build
a railway from the regional capital Lhasa to Xigaze, the remote Himalayan
region's second-largest city.
